Abortion–In cases of rape, incest, or serious danger to the mother’s life, then yes. Otherwise, there are thousands of infertile couples who would love to give an unwanted baby a loving home.

Circumcision–Yes, I think it’s cleaner and healthier. I see no reason not to.

Baby Immunization–Absolutely, I want my babies to be healthy.

Breastfeeding–Yes, I plan on breastfeeding my little ones for as long as I can.

Formula–If you have to. If your milk isn’t coming in or the baby can’t figure out how to latch on, then of course you have to do what you have to do to feed your baby.

Disposable Diapers–Absolutely. I used to be a nanny for a little girl whose mother used cloth diapers, and LORD it was a pain. I’m not that patient.

Items not approved by CPSC–I’d probably be wary of items without CPSC approval.

Baby Wearing–As in those Baby Bjorn carriers? Absolutely! I think those are great.

Baby Leashes–No, that’s what their hands are for. Get a dog if you like leashes.

Co-sleeping–When they’re newborn, yes. Once they start sleeping through the night, it’s off to their own rooms.

Crying it Out–Yes, it teaches children to self-soothe.

Spoon Feeding–No idea who would be against it or why…

Infant Ear Piercing–Nah, I’d give her a choice once she hits 7 or 8. She may not want her ears pierced, and if she gets it done at that age, she can learn to take care of her newly-pierced ears.

Baby Development TV Shows–In moderation. As long as baby isn’t in front of the TV for hours on end, it’s fine.

Child Care Centers–I plan on staying home with mine until they start school full-time. I wouldn’t send my kids to one. I’m not a fan of having children and then sending them off to a daycare from 8AM to 6PM. When I’m on my deathbed, the last thing I’m going to think is "Gee, I really wish I’d spent more time at work!"

Stern Voice–Excellent form of discipline when used properly.

Spanking–Don’t believe in it. There are better ways.

Toys that are Dangerous–Within moderation. I’m not against baby dolls or other things as long as my kids understand that they are for pretend only, and never to be used against another person. I don’t like guns or knives. Swords are cool for Halloween, but not otherwise. My husband is in the Air Force, so a little bit of military toys is to be expected.

Circumcism
Breast feeding
Formula
Disposable diapers
Yes to Car seats!
Baby delopment shows
stern voice
and spanking….kids need discipline…but not till they are old enough to understand

NO the rest of the things! EXPECAILLY ABORTION!

I wouldn’t have an abortion but it is not up to me or anybody else to tell somebody else what to do.
Circumcision is a good idea, as is breastfeeding, co-sleeping is fine, no spanking use time outs instead.

Abortion I would not have one but i don’t judge others that do for many reasons 1 being a 11 year old friends daughter was raped and had an abortion after finding out she was pregnant

Crying it out — not sure I understand this one, I say let them cry a few minutes sometimes to see if they just want attention

abortion: i am against it unless it was a rape or incest
circumcision: for it

breast feeding: wanted to but physically couldn’t
formula: had to b/c of the previous situation
disposable diapers: use them
approved baby items: i only really check on like car seats and stuff
baby wearing: not sure what you mean by that
baby leashes: was opposed to it until i had my first daughter and only then do i approve of it in a really busy place like disney world
co-sleeping: did it with my first child and it was the biggest mistake of my life because i never got a good night’s sleep
crying it out: i let my second child cry it out and she is much more independent and i finally get sleep now
spoon feeding: what do you mean? why would that be a controversial parenting issue?
infant ear piercing: i pierced my first daughter’s ears @ 6 months and i was planning on doing my second daughter’s ear too but i never got around to it and she’s 2 now
baby Development TV: my kids watch tv all day…like nick jr or something my kids (2 and 4) can both count in spanish and are both very smart but i didn’t really encourage the tv thing…it just kinda happened
child care centers: i would use one if i had to but luckily my husband and i can afford for me to stay home with them
stern voice: i use a stern voice all the time with my kids…
spanking: i don’t spank unless it’s the last resort and i have given multiple chances and time out didn’t work
i think kids that are taught the correct way at a correct age to use guns and knives is fine but i don’t think they should be able to get ahold of them unless they have parent or adult watching them

but, seeing as i am typing already i must add that baby leashes are sick and wrong cuz its a baby not a dog, spanking is crule, and infant ear peircing is taking away the kids right to choose weather or not she wants it. giving the sense that they are in controll over their life is good. most kids bossy parents who say no a lot feel caged.

don’t give your kid a toy gun/nife. they’ll grow up thinking guns are cool and crak jokes about shooting people on the bus from shool. though they’re joking, it’s not that cool.plus giving ur kid a doll will not give them the urge to go and have sex with the first man they meet. chill, ok? my sis had the baby doll she practically worshipped, she’s 12 and hates men of all ages.

you sound like some freaked out mom who won’t as so much let your kids be ten inches away from you in walmart. give ur kids space. when they’re 13-17 let them have the life they want, give them freedom and don’t hover. if you raised them right then you have no reson to have a cow when they get asked out. it’s nomal ok? kids are kids, we all die in the end.

Abortion: Would not get one myself and would do my best to talk anyone I know out of getting one. I do not think it should be illegal because people would do it dangerosly but I think they should be shown an abortion before they are allowed to have one and see what really happens
circumsision: Yes baby boys should have them unless it is AGAINST the religion because I know of more than one grown man have to get one because something went wrong later in life.
All babies should be immunized because they have no other way to fight infection and deseases and the benifits far outweigh the risks
Breast feeding is the best but if a woman can NOT breastfeed for whatever reason she should not be made to feel bad about it. Formula is a perfectly viable option.
Disposible Diapers are great and very convient
I don’t know much about these items
If the baby likes the devices that allow them to be "worn" by a parent than go for it, My baby hated it
Baby leashes, don’t you mean toddler leashes. I was against that untill my toddler almost ran in front of a car
cosleeping is fine as long as both parents agree and should probably be stopped before elem school
Crying it out is fine as long as you contine to check on the baby make sure the child is o.k. every so often till the child falls asleep which the child eventually will
spoon feeding is the only way babies get food at first then let them try. I think they should learn to feed themselves at a young age
I dont like infant ear peircing the child should allowed to decide if and when they want it done. and it should be when they can take care of it themselves
Parents should watch any programs with their child so they can talk about it. they lean more when watching with the parents
I think child care centers are necessary and some get a bad rap. they should be researched and the parents should visit. I think they are safer than in home daycare and are held to stricketer regulations but I think they are good especially for preschool age children
somtimes you can not get a childs attention if you always talk in stern voice but you need to use it sometims to grab the attention of a chld in danger
spanking can be used effectively if it is used as a last resort. if you spank for everything it looses its impact
toys that condone violence, guns, knives, swords I do NOT believe in there are so many other toys availbal now how is a baby doll dangersous. I think those are good tools in teaching how to care for and love others, it makes good parents and there is NO proof that it condones young parents.
