My activities ( in the train #2)
10. The conductor informs the names of stations by the car-broadcasting every time it arrives at the stations.
11. The railways is most convenient way of travel in the erea of major cities since they are punctual.
12. The train has the air-conditioners in its ceiling and the heaters under its seats.
13. The train uses fluorescent for the lights in the car.
14. Many kinds of poster for advertisements are hanged from the ceiling and pin-upped on the wall.
15. The seats confront on left and right.
16. The trains don’t have any toilet.
17. The railroad network covers all over Tokyo so we don’t need any car.

i made a mistake again. wOrd.
The seats are located both sides by one line. We Japanese call the type of the seat fomation ‘face to face type’. Then I used ‘confront’. hm,difficult…..

11. The railways *are* the most convenient means of travel in the area of major cities, since they are the most punctual.
12. Trains have air-conditioners in their ceilings, and heaters under the seats.
13. For light, the train uses fluorescent lights.
14. Many kinds of posters for advertisement are *hung* from the ceiling and *pinned* on the wall.

10. sounds right to me.
11. do you mean multiple railways (trains)? then it would be "are most convenient"–plural. However, I think some people use "railways" in a different way than Americans would–we would say subway or train; but this is cultural usage and would be correct.
12. correct.
13. correct.
14. are the posters currently "hanging" from the ceiling? or have they hung? Hanged is apparently only used in the case of a death sentence–though I personally always say hung, never hanged. I would say that "There are many…", but I’m not sure if what you have is incorrect.
15. "confront"– this is probably the wrong word. This is generally used in a battle situation "the two generals confront each other".
16. either "a" single toilet or pluralize "toilets"
17. same as above for the car–either "a" car or plural "cars"

. If you were speaking there would probably not be any mis-communications (except for the confront–maybe "continue" is the word you mean? Like you’d just entered the train and you looked left and right and saw the seats continuing in both directions?)
