What do you think?
I am purchasing a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. The price of the car 12 ,290. They are taking off 200 b/c it is an internet sale, plus the value for my trade in so all together it is going to be about ,000. The car is in great running condition. There is a rock ship taken out of the windshield which they are going to fix for me, and it has brand new tires that need to be sealed and they are doing that too. The only thing is that it is used and there is a minor dent in the rear passanger side door that they cant fix but are getting me an estimate for. The car has about 40,000 miles on it heated seats all power. Is this a good deal? And if they cant get a good estimate does anyone have suggestions for removing a dent, or covering it up? You cannot really see it unless you are looking for it, so I guess that it is not that major. Thanks.

In all honesty, I would rather stay away from pontiac and all of the domestics, as a mechanic, I can tell you that you never know when they will leave you stranded on the side of the road. Even the new ones.

I don’t think that is a good price for this car. For $13,000 @ 40K miles is too high.
It should be FLAWLESS at that price. I paid $8500 for a used Benz recently, and it was in perfect condition.
I would recommend searching for another ride…

I would not go for anything that is not in good conditions as 13,000 is not a small amount of money. I will wait and look for a better deal.

A good deal is what you believe,,,,,,,, 40,000 miles,,,,,,, Great miles on that car (18,000 a year is standard so it should have 72,000 on it) Pontiac is a good car !!!!!

I think it is a little high. Go to the Kelly Blue Book website (www.kbb.com) and see for yourself.
I own a 2002 Grand Prix GT and I haven’t had any real problems yet. Grand Prix’s are pretty good cars but I would stay away from the GTP version. The GTP version for 2002 means it has a supercharger on it and that model had more problems. Plus the supercharger would mean worse fuel economy than the GT or SE, if your concerned about that.
I also looked on autotrader.com and found several Grand Prix’s that were newer and had less miles for about the same price as the one your looking at.
I would keep looking if I were you. Sounds like they are ripping you off.
