volvo battery question?
i have a 2001 volvo v70 xc and the battery finally went dead this weekend. i went and got a battery and changed it out just like i have done on several other cars. this time, something blew and i have no idea of what it could be. everything works on the car except for the the climate control system representing the fan, a/c, and seat heaters. none of the lights even come on. so if anyone has any advice on what that could be, please let me know! thanks!

Try disconnecting batt. clamps from batt. terminal for 30 seconds and reconnecting but be sure ignition key is in off position. Recheck function of electrical devices. If problem still exist check main fuses under hood compartment carefully for related electrical device not working. Also check if batt. cables for loose connections. Keep me posted.

fuses are found in several locations on this car [underhood on left side near cowl, left end of dash check golve box for owners manual for individual fuse lists and locations in each panal.
note i would expect to find a blown "maxi" fuse under the hood
