Heated seats on my Toyota Sequia?

I have a 2003 Toyota Saquia and I don’t know if I have heated seats. My dashboard reads (Front and Rear) where the heater settings are, but I am not sure. It is an SR5 model, but I have leather, 6cd disc changer, large power sunroof..all these fearures normally come only on a limited, so I figured I might also have heated seats…Let me know if you have this and how I can operate. Thanks

What color car seats should I buy if my car is charcoal grey and has a tan interior?

The car is a toyota corolla 2007 and the seats have stains so I need to cover them up with a seat cover but I don’t know which color would go nicely with tan. I have an ornament for the rearview mirror that has black beads, red clay flowers, and a mini clay cow.
Thanks!
And the car does not have side airbags.

What do to about 19 yr old daughter and car?

My 19 yr old daughter has just lost another job and I am at my wits end.
She was in rehab at the age of 17, had a baby at 18 (baby stays with father most of the time because he does not & will not work) and moved home with us (mom & pop) at 19 in January 08. When we found out she was pregnant we bought her a nice car (02 Toyota camry) because we didn’t want our grandchild riding in something that was not dependable. Since January she has worked at 3 jobs and just recently got on with JCPenney (new store they are opening). Back in May she took a rode trip to see her best friend (her dad & I tried to talk her out of it.) leaving late at night and it was about a 200 mile drive. She wrecked the car. Fortunately she ws covered under our insurance. We paid the deductible, had the car repaired.
On the way to work at JCPenney last week the car breaks down. I paid to have the car towed to a service center and then to the Toyota Dealership. Needed about 00 of repair work. I didn’t want her to loose her job and even though I work I offered to take off to transport her back & forth to work (this is not a problem with the people I work with, they have been great to me).
I should point out that even though she is living with us there are times that she does not come home at all and we do not hear from her for days at a time. We would have a blowout about this behavior ,things would be good for a while then she would start again.
She worked this past Sunday did not come home, called me Monday morning to check her Schedule to see what time she needed to go to work. She was off but needed to work Tuesday @ 8am, and Wednesday @ 8am, off on Thursday. I did not hear from or see her until Wed. Wanting some money she had asked me to hold on to for her. I asked her why she wasn’t at work, she told me she didn’t have to be there until 12noon. ( Well I didn’t think that was unusal because I had worked in retail before and my schedule would change.) The dealership called, her car was ready, her dad and I went down and picked it up. She has ragged the car out. Stains all over seats and floor mats. Radio yanked out of it. Took it home and put it in the barn. I didn’t see her until Thursday Afternoon. Didn’t tell her the car was there. This morning she told me how much she hated living there,… that I was bringing her down. Later she called me at work and asked me when her car was supposed to be ready. I tell her if she is honest with me I will be honest with her. Did she still have a job? No. Did she work Tuesday or Wednesday? No Why not? Don’t know.
So then I tell her that her car is in the barn but she can not have it back until she gets another job. The person that she has been hanging out with can cart her around until she finds another job. She started cussing me and I just hung up the phone and now am rejecting her calls.
Am I wrong? Should I give her the car and tell her just to get her stuff and leave? Help!!!!
I appreciate everyone’s input. My grandson lives with his father most of the time and is in no danger. My daughter was in rehab for drug abuse. I love her very much and when her car broke down she called me crying asking me what she was going to do. I felt sorry for her and helped her because I didn’t want her to loose her job. This could have been a great opportunity for her. She is such a personable young woman. Great sense of humor. All thru her school career, her teachers would tell me what a delight she was and how much they enjoyed teaching her. EVERYBODY LIKES HER.
Maybe I should just let her have the car and tell her to leave. I have no idea where she would go and I know that I would worry about her.
When she was 13 she wanted to be treated like she was 19 , now
She is 19 and acts like a child.

First time car buyer better to buy a used or new?

I’m interested in buying a used 2001 Tacoma Limited SR5 pkg. w/ 120k for ,500. Im not too enthused about the mileage but it is a Toyota. It is automatic V6, has leather seating, dual stainless steel exhaust, chrome step-up bar, and a fiberglass bed cover, and really well taken care of it and still looks almost new. Timing belt changed at 95k. I’m 21 looking to buy my first car. Some established credit for the past 2 1/2 years, mainly credit cards. I’m just looking for some opinions on if it would be ok to buy a used car, this one in particular, or if it is better to buy new with a first-time buyers program or something like that and get a car with lower miles.
According to kelley the 4wd limited double cab books at about ,000. And I want the truck for camping, dirt bike, etc… I live in Colorado.

Are there any sportscars with high end torque instead of low end torque?

Low end torque where is you feel it from the start of the RPM’s, but High end torque is when you feel more power when the RPM’s are at their highest levels.

When you drive a car with low end torque, it makes you feel like you’re getting pushed back hard in your car seat like…."Vrroom…..Damn! What starting off power this car has!" from the start when you push on the gas.

When you drive a high end torque car it feels like your car can catch up with anyone’s car. It feels like it’s covering a lot of ground in a short amount of time and it has a lot of top speed. As if it’s taking huge strides on the road like a cheetah or something! Like it’s using the road ahead as a vacuum for it’s power and the farther it goes down the road the more powerful the vacuum (your car) is sucking in the power! What a thrill as well. Anyway, that’s what my sports car feels like because it has a lot of high end torque. I drive a Toyota Celica GT-S. Now, I love sportscars just like everybody else but what other cars do you know of have high end torque? If I ever get another sportscar I want a high end torque sports car, I love the second feel better when I’m in a sportscar.

Geico trying to screw me with a payoff on my stolen car?

My car was stolen on October 21st of this year and I’m having a lot of issues with Geico paying off my car. Not only has it been 42 days and I’m just now receiving a phone call about the value of my car, but at the beginning of this process I was told that after 20 days this would be taken care of. I never received a phone call so I personally took it upon myself at 30 days to contact my agent, and told her that my car was never found. She told me she’d send off my file to Total Loss Claims that day. Well, 10 days later I never heard anything so I called back..and she tells me she is JUST now sending in my claim. She said the file came back rejected because THEY forgot to scan a few of my files I had to send in as a package. In turn I have paid 2 car payments already on a car I don’t even have and they only covered 200 dollars worth of stuff stolen out of my car – which barely paid for my kids car seat!

So, today I finally get a phone call from a Total Loss Claims agent to talk about the value of my car. It was in perfect condition and was a 2006 Scion xB Special Release Series 3.0 with 48,000 miles, give or take a few hundred. I KBB on my own and it ranged inbetween 13,000-15,000 depending on the miles and the area. Well, Geico is trying to only give me 12, 661.84 which is BELOW what I still owe on it! I contacted Toyota for a pay off and it was 12,686.04 but even though it is barely any money in between they also will be taking out 500 dollars for a comprehensive deduction. I just don’t see how this is fair considering I’ve already paid 920 dollars over the past 40 days in car payments and now I’m looking at also paying another 520 on it as well! As this point I’ll be making yet another car payment, not receiving any money to help get me into another car and I’m SCREWED. I’ve been without a car already for over 40 days!

What should I do? I made the agent go back and re value our car because I told her that on KBB.com it came back with a way higher value than what they were trying to give me and she said she had no idea what a "Special release series 3.0" meant. I told her that every year they make 2 series that have special stuff in or on them (ours had a special motor, 1,500 dollar paint job, special tail lights, neon lights, sports package around the bottom of the car and carbon fiber on the cars..). I’m just really irritated at this point and don’t know what to do..

Sorry this was so long..
Opps, it is a Special Release Series 4.0 I obviously do not know what or how car value of a car is determined. Can anyone point me in that direction? And yes, I wish I had GAP insurance but they would’ve almost doubled our car payment a month and I don’t see how anyone could expect me to pay 800+ dollars a month for a car.
I wish I could reply to some of you but that isn’t an’ option…

How can they determine threat count on a car that was STOLEN and never returned? Or seats, or anything for that matter. That doesn’t make any sense to me. They did get a letter from Toyota service department where we took our car for all the oil changes, brakes, etc about the condition of the car which was excellent.
Last update:

To the last person who THINKS they know a lot about insurance, you need to do a lot of research before you post know-it-all answers.

A. Car insurance DOES cover what was stolen WITH the car, since obviously I was given 200 dollars for a car seat that was inside the car. Different types of insurance covers different amounts.

B. KBB.com DOES offer a fair value market pricing since I was contacted by Geico this afternoon and given a 14,011.84 offer for my car, which on KBB.com values for 14,590.57. Did you not read that it was a SPECIAL RELEASE SERIES 4.0? I would never sell my car for 11,000 dollars.

C. I was never upset about paying the deductible, just stated how much it took away from the first offer on my car.

D. She was a claims agent, not a personal agent. And I DO have an’ agent who I privately deal with, and have for many years with my insurance.

E. Never borrowed more than the car was worth, bought it brand new. You suck at facts.

New car or used luxury cars with my budget?

I am trying to decide if I should go with buying a new car or a used luxury. If I decide on a new car, this will be my first new car ever.

I’ve been saving money till now and my budget is set at 25k. I went to a toyota dealer and got a deal for new 2008 toyota camry LE for ,300 which includes all fees (destination, tax, dmv, etc) I double confirmed that this is the final walk out price, and he literally said "not a dime more.".
The options includes sunroof and leather seats (the leather on the seats are not from the factory. they will just put a leather cover over the existing seats, but to bare eyes you don’t see the difference).

I realize that this is a good deal, but at the same time I also want to look into getting a 2-3 years used japanese luxury cars with low milage. I am thinking maybe a 2005 Lexus GS, or Infinity G35, with less then 35k miles on it. (cont.)
My friend’s close friend is a dealer and he said he should be able to get me those class cars at my budget.

So I have everything laid out on the table, and I’m trying to decide whether I should just go with a camry or luxury. I really want a luxury car, but getting a new car has its own benefits also.

If it was YOU, what would YOU do? Would you go for a new car or used luxury?

1990 Toyota Celica GT?

I have a 1990 Toyota Celica GT. Where can i get custom int. parts? Like for example a pink dashboard, pink/black seat covers or a CHEAP body kit. Or just anything else fun to help customize it. I am also looking for rims to purchase.

Baby mirror for backseat of my car?

I am having trouble finding a mirror that will stay put in the backseat of my car so I can see my baby in her rear facing car seat.
I bought one but it has a strap that is supposed to keep it up-right, the problem is this strap is supposed to connect to something on the rear deck (under the rear window)and I don’t have anythig for it to connect to.
I have tried velcro hooks, but they don’t stay put because the rear deck is covered with carpet.
The car is a 1991 Toyota Corolla.
If anyone has had this same problem or has a suggestion it would be very much appreciated
the car has no headrests
