How much would you pay for a 1997 Ford Ranger?

I am starting to look into selling my truck that I have had for the past 6 years. The truck KBB’s for 00, but my question is what would you actually pay for it, because the two will be different? My goal is to find a number that I can expect to get out of the truck.
1997 Ford Ranger Splash Regular Cab
V6 3.0L Engine
5 Speed Manual Transmission
124K
Rear Sliding Window
Step Side Bed
Aftermarket CD Player
Fold Down Armrest/bench seats
Tonneau Cover
Bed Liner
Brand New Tires, Starter, Leaf Springs
Routine maintenance, never any problems with the car
The truck drives great and is in great condition.
Minor rust spot on the rear bumper, but nothing major to worry about.
What would you be willing to pay for this truck?
Sorry the 00 was with the truck in good, not excellent condition. As I have been looking around I have seen other websites such as edmunds.com and caranddriver.com price the car between 00 and 00. I think that is extremely overpriced for the truck too. I am just looking to see what people would offer so I can estimate what I would get out of it. I am in no rush to sell the car, just if the right price came along from someone around town, I would sell it.

Did I get a good deal on this Corolla? I paid $4600 at a used car dealership.?

Recently bought a 1998 Corolla LE.
-101K miles.
-Carfax showed clean records, reg maintenance and lubing.

1. Power steering, power windows, power mirrors, power doors.
2. New tires, new brakes, outside paint still glossy
3. Cruise control
4. A/c, FM/CD player
5. body colored bumpers, mirrors, door handles, Cloth seat cover
6. dual front side airbags.

I have driven it around 1500 miles already and it’s been nothing but a pleasure. Just fuel ups. It gave 36 to 37 mpg on a recent 400 mile journey. I serviced it at a Toyota dealership and they had a comment of surprise that this was a very well maintainted car – gave clean bill of health.

So is the price still ok?

Good or not so, just curious, Comments or Critique?

I can hear you out there, just a bit too loud
calling out "Lounge Lizard",over all the crowd.
Athough I was ok more with that, than your
hurling cold chicken Gizzards,OH so proud.
Yes I know you paid, begrudgingly at the door
to cover some seat, then wondered, "What THE H For?"
No offense meant to you in the suit out there, but I’ll hug the ones in blue collars.
At least I know they mostly are here, not caring about the dollars.
Yeah I get your comments about the bottle,it really is just water, filtered.
If I could afford 12 ounces of STOLI, whadda ya think I would have prefered?
In case ya leave before I do, I’ll tell ya what car is mine,
it’s that 20 year old, faded blue junk, and it got me here just fine.
In case ya might wanna KEY IT, or even puncture the tires
don’t forget to break the entry door, held with braided wire.
So I see the warning light blinking, I know my time is up.
I hope on your way home in your Lexus, ya open the window before ya throw up. Cheers!
Me likey too, when that stringy stuff I get through.

Hopefully it didn’t so strictly, come off as some sad lament, but it speaks of those in the CRAFTS, so many, so often, somewhat content.
YEEPS JEEPS, no offenses intended, just my NON "NAP", now extended. HUGS on yer "Secrets"
Secret, come to me, and believe so much of what I express, is so much for and about you. "Did that sound like Antonio Bandares, in some film?"

Yes/no, IT is all about YOU, and BEEP me anytime, PLEEEEEEEZE

What is the value of a 1989 GMC 2500 Sierra, 350-V8 7.5 liter 279,000 runs good, needs a paint job and ?

The seat cover on driver side needs replaced, good tires. It has been mine for along time and I have took good acre of her but I have had to park it and I do not want it to ruin and I do not want to give it away. I always had the oil change or change it myself every 3,000 miles. Any ideas and not with the gas prices up deal. If you can afford a truck then plan on paying the price to drive it blame our government for this mess ( politics= $ gone) I just want Facts of value not gas issues. thanks

I am buying a truck. Should I put on flowmasters with a 2″ lift(outside) or work on the inside?

I can’t decide if I should save my money and work on the inside. Install seat covers and a new radio
or put flowmasters and a 2" suspension lift with bigger tires

Does anyone know anything about used car lemon laws in California?

I bought a used 2006 Pontiac G6 in 2007. The car seemed to have been in great condition. Shortly after the brakes went bad. I got them replaced. Again, steering was shaking and the brakes seemed bad. I changed the brakes regularly. I recently got my rodors turned, which seemed to help for about a week. I opened my back door to put my niece in her carseat and then opened the front door to put my purse in my seat…. my side panel completely ripped off the rear door. I ran a carfax and found that the vehicle had been in an accident. This was never disclosed to me at the time of purchase. I got a copy of the accident report from the police department. It said the accident was a 3 and their ratings are from 1 being the least, 5 being the worst. The accident said LSD-3, which is left side distributed… which is where my panel ripped off. I took it to the manufacture dealership and they replaced my panel on the back door, but not the front one. I started having more and more issues with the shaking of the steering wheel and pumping of the brakes. It did not matter how fast, or slow… the steering shakes bad. The car also pulls to the right really bad… and my tires go bad quickly. I took it to the dealership I purchased it from and talked to the General Manager, who said he had his legal department look into it. They did nothing. Said they would fix my car, did not fix my car. Said that his parts and repair manager fully inspected my vehicle and that he saw it had been in another accident: Rear ended. He showed me where the rear spoiler and bumper had been replaced with after market screws and a slightly different paint color and basically accused me of having been the one to wreck the car. I have never wrecked this car. This is exactly how I bought the car off of their lot. He said it would be their word against mine and that they would never put a car that looked like that on their lot so that it would basically be a waste of time to do anything about it. Is this true? I feel like I have a case against them. I believe the brakes are bad because of the accident that happened before I owned the car. There is paint on the trunk liner where they didn’t cover with plastic when they did the overspray and the screws are chrome, they didn’t paint over them. Can anyone who has been in a similar situation please help me out, or give me some advice? Thank you!!!

What do you think?

I am purchasing a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. The price of the car 12 ,290. They are taking off 200 b/c it is an internet sale, plus the value for my trade in so all together it is going to be about ,000. The car is in great running condition. There is a rock ship taken out of the windshield which they are going to fix for me, and it has brand new tires that need to be sealed and they are doing that too. The only thing is that it is used and there is a minor dent in the rear passanger side door that they cant fix but are getting me an estimate for. The car has about 40,000 miles on it heated seats all power. Is this a good deal? And if they cant get a good estimate does anyone have suggestions for removing a dent, or covering it up? You cannot really see it unless you are looking for it, so I guess that it is not that major. Thanks.

We have a guy that my dad has done some work for that has a 1984 chevy blazer k-5 with 82,000 original miles?

It has been literally sitting for 2 yrs..he is RICH and just bought it new yrs ago to putt around the beach in California..back seat looks like noone has ever set in it,the tires are mudgrip with maybe 2,000 miles on them,it has the tow package on it,almost everything is original on it ,power windows, power locks, still has the tire cover over the spare with chevy blazer in print..looks new..has been sitting like I said and has some tree sap on it but cleaned off nicely..u can of course take the top off for a convertible truck"WOW" 4×4 with the 305 engine,a/c works perfect.. and he wants 800.00 for it because my dad is a friend of his..GOOD DEAL?? I know gas prices are up but what do you guys think..DEAL OR DUD?????

Raising the trade-in worth of my ’00 Jeep Wrangler? Soft-Top?

A seam on the soft top has busted! (The seam along the back driver’s side.) I wanted to just repair the seam, but I think it would look better if I just went with a new top. There are some other cosmetic repairs that need to be done, but this is probably the biggest one. (New driver’s seat, dent above windshield, re-paint fenders, tire cover, etc.) It is a 2000, less then 99,000 miles (mostly highway miles), I am the only owner, and never have had any problems with it. It’s yellow, black top, half doors, air, CD player, sound bar, 4cyl, tires are pretty new. I hardly ever drive it, I work with my husband so we always drive his car. How would this effect the trade-in value? (I would say it is in "Fair" condition at worst.) Or would I be putting more money into it than I should? Would I be losing money?
Or…I may just go to a salvage yard and trade my top with another Jeep. That should cost very much…hopefully.
