2006 Hyundai Sonata or 2001 Audi A4?

My car was recently totaled so I have to get a new one. It was a 2003 Buick Lesabre limited that was loaded, it even had heads up display. I sadly couldn’t find another within my price range that came even close to my car in luxury features. I have a budget of around 00. I found two vehicles one was a 2001 Audi A4 1.8T for 95 that was loaded and only had a cracked taillight cover (no big whoop, I see it as a bargaining chip). The cons of it were: 109,000 miles, no tint (a necessary when you have Leather in AZ), premium gas, synthetic oil and expensive replacement parts (not really that big an issue just may cause price of a warranty to go up). The sonata (priced ,998 with 91,356 miles) I looked at also had it’s ups and downs, positives: steering wheel volume controls, a digital Gauge that tells you how far you can go on a tank, cheap and few repairs, new body style and powerful but efficient v6. Cons: cloth seats, drivers seat adjustment may have been broken (didn’t really try much to adjust it, raises my insurance, the alignment was off (It didn’t pull it just went strait when the wheel was at a non significant angle, just another bargaining chip). I got insurance quotes saying the audi brings my insurance down by a year and the sonata being newer raises it a year (I don’t pay for it mom does but I’d feel bad) and when buying it I’d have to get financing even after talking them down (not really a bad because I’m 18 wouldn’t be a bad idea to start building credit, I have a good job and my mom’s credit score is over 800 so cosigners wouldn’t be a problem). I don’t really like the thought of paying for premium gas or expensive repairs when it comes to the audi, but the sonata lacked my luxurious features that my buick had. I need a car that will last me a REALLY long time and not be a money pit. Which vehicle do you think I should go with? And why?
I plan on getting an extended warranty on whichever one I get.

I own a 1984 Chevrolet Camaro Berlinetta.

2.8L V6 Engine (0 miles, rebuilt) ((Also have a 5.7L LT1 V8 Engine and Transmission from a corvette))

Car is in near-perfect restored condition. Has won 1st place in classic car shows in its division.

1995 318i BMW parts/installation?

My parents recently bought me a 1995 318i BMW. I like it but the dash area where the radio is and between the driver/passenger seats (where the parking break/shifter is) looks really dated. I was wondering if I could replace those parts to look like the ones on newer models- as the exterior/seats/carpet are in fantastic shape. In addition, the area behind the steering wheel (I know I sound dumb- I don’t know the names!) that shows your speed/gas etc… can that also be replaced? And lastly I know I can get the white light bulbs for my headlights… but can I get new covers over the bulbs to give the car a newer look? Thanks for any info!
Also if you know or can approximate the price of each of these things plus how much it will cost to be installed:

1. Dash / between seats area
2. Behind the wheel
3. White lights/ new light covers

Am i Dizzy ? Or is something wrong with my Jeep ?

Yesturday we had a good 3 inchs of really dry snow, and while driving my 1998 Grand Cherokee, i lost traction when turning and the Jeep slid foward and the drive tired ran over the curb and the front bumper cover hit a stop sign and cracked the plastic cover. I was going maybe 5-10mph it wasnt very fast. The stop sign was a wooden post a small 2×2 post and it broke in half.

I drove the Jeep to the store today roads are clear and 100% dry now, and i sware it feals like my Jeep is twisted somehow like the rear end is turning left and the front end is turning right.. Yet the steering wheel is straight when im driving straight. The Vehicle doesnt pull in either direction, and the wheel look straight and turn fine from what i see..

I had my mom drive the Jeep and she said it feals fine. When i was in the passengers seat i still felt that weird fealing like the Jeep was fishtailing almost but that isnt possible because we were on dry pavement.

Is it just me am i out of equilibrium or something ? Or could i have done something to the Jeep when i hit that stop sign ? It was a small impact i mean the bumper cracked but but then those things are thin and i could punch a hole in it if i wanted. One wheel did run over the curb, but i was only going at the max 5-10mph

Should I buy this Ford 2004 5.4 4X4 Lariat?

I am a little worried about it being a money pit, because the mirrors, power pedals, and drivers seat controls did not seem to work when I test drove it today (at a local Ford dealership). The sales guy said they will see if it is a simple fix. Also, the step bars on the sides are pretty beat up, but I think those are inexpensive to replace.

There are some dings here and there and I am okay with those. The truck will be for handy work and transporting horse feed and supplies. I wanted something better than a beater without getting into debt (as you know these new nice trucks nowadays are 30-50K easy!).

Can these modern Ford engines last long passed 150K Miles? I am looking to trade in my 03 G35 sedan which will cover about 10K of my cost. Should I wait and save more cash? Thanks for any tips.

One stop shop for car accessories?

I live in Washington and just bought a blood-red 2009 Pontiac G6. I’ve tried walmart, fred meyer’s, and autozone for car accessories but I’m not finding a wide or impressive enough selection of car mats/steering wheel/seat covers. I want something fairly flashy (I’m a twenty year old guy who just bought his first car.) Does anyone know any good stores in the Seattle area or any websites that could set me up right?

2005 Mazda Mazda3 or 2009 Nissan Versa S Hatchback?

I am looking to buy a new car and have narrowed it down to specific cars. I just want your opinions on what you think! Both are around the same price OTD and have a clean title. I am a college student, only working part time, so I won’t be able to afford anything more extravagant than what I have listed below.

1. Mazda Mazda 3 Sedan
Color: Blue
Year: 2005
Miles: about 60k
Interior: Black Leather (no seat heaters)
This is the touring edition with the 2.3 engine, larger rims, pretty new tires, 6 disc in dash CD player, fog lights, leather wrapped steering wheel.
I love the inside of this car, I also like the larger engine (I drive quite a few huge hills every day on my commute) I am not a huge fan of driving a bright blue car but the color is growing on me, and it seems like EVERY girl drives a Mazda 3, I don’t want to be just another girl in a Mazda. I am also worried about the age of the car.

2. Nissan Versa S Hatchback
Color: White
Year: 2009
Miles: about 20k
Interior: Beige Microfiber
This is pretty much the base model with the exception of the 1.8 engine and CD player. Tires with hubcaps, no center console/armrest. I LOVE the way this car looks on the outside, it’s different and unusual and really cute! I also like that it is a newer car and has a factory warranty on it. The one thing I would change is that it’s lacking storage space. I also would buy new rims and tint the windows.

What are your thoughts? Mostly the year is making me hesitant on the Mazda, and the lack of storage is making me hesitant on the Versa.

Hi My 2000 BMW 323ci has been a fantastic car, but I bought it almost 10 years ago. In 10 years of ownership, I’ve raised a boy since from 2 to 12, so there’s been quite a bit of wear inside! Can anyone tell me what the little sliding door is called that covers the storage spot between the two front seats? Also, can I repair, panit or replace the steering wheel buttons that have had the paint rubbed off, or would that require an entirely new wheel?
