How can I remove the driver’s seat rear panel in a 2004 Lincoln LS?
The driver’s side seat heater duct in my Lincoln LS has become dislodged. Need to remove the driver’s seat rear panel for room to access and replace the duct.
What kind of car seat covers can i buy for a Hyundai Elantra?
The model of the Elantra I’m interested in getting (07-10) has side seat airbags but im also wanting to put covers on the seats. What kind of special seats would i need to find for this model of car? Would they be considered "universal" car seat covers? im looking for cute covers and not the dull, boring black or neutral color covers. would it be possible to find these kinds of seat covers out there?
What is causing the persistent windshield fog in my 1993 Chevy Lumina?
I have an old car I don’t drive much, a 1993 Chevy Lumina. Last year I started getting this fog inside my windshield. When I wipe it off, it comes back in minutes. Seems to happen whether the car is on or off, in winter or summer. It freezes inside the windshield in winter and needs to be scraped off.
I assumed this problem was with a 1 L bottle of water a friend left in the back seat that jammed under the seat and leaked out on my floor, but the blower seems to have no effect on this windshield fog, so it’s not plain water (but it does freeze at water-freezing temps). I’ve read that heater core leaks can cause a nasty persistent fog, and that vinyl dashboards in old cars can produce similar effects. I do have a vinyl dashboard, but I haven’t had any problems with the heater.
Is it time to visit the mechanic, or is this just aging car vinyl combined with lingering moisture from that spill?
I did have some floor moisture for a while, but it was in the back driver’s side seat where the water bottle spilled out. No moisture on the front passenger seat floor. When I last vacuumed out the car a couple weeks ago I saw no moisture at all on the floors.

So this past week I’ve been paranoid thinking that my heater core in my 96 Grand Am was bad, well today I realized something pretty strange, only the bottom part of my hands ( that’s on the steering wheel) smell like something strong..it smells like oil. Nothing else on my body, not even my arms smell like it, and the person in the passengers side seat doesn’t smell like it either..which is kind of weird since the vents are blowing all kinds of air on us. So then I smelled my steering wheel and there is a veryyyy strong smell on there. So do you think there is something wrong with my car making my steering wheel smell like this? Or do you think the guy I got the car from had oil or something on his hands while doing work to the car? Also, is there something I could use to wash it off? I don’t think plain ol water will work. 2004 Acura TSX Problems?? Any suggestions?
I have a 2004 Acura TSX. I just replaced the battery. I have noticed that the dash lights are flashing that are located in the middle part of by my radio and heating and air controls. At night time they will flicker on and off, not all the time but sometimes. Also, my heated seats! Ah, well my driver seat heater is only heating on the part where my back rest and the lower part being sat on doesnt even heat up any more. The passenger side seat doesnt even get that warm even when on high also the back part of the seat where you rest your back has never heated up. I have no idea so any suggestion would help a ton! I would like to know what to start with first. Oh last thing my check engine light and my maintenance required light is on and i had them run a diagnostic test on it and they said that something with my exhaust is under threshold. Please let me know if you happen to know anything!

Why do I keep having nightmares about death and graveyards and such?!?
OK, I had Night Terrors from when I was born to when I was about 7. I am 12 now. I have been having nightmares every night and sometimes, they are so scary, that I am frightened to go to bed.
Thursday’s Nightmare: I am walking in the graveyard singing a disturbed version of Miss Mary Mack (The one with the knife in her back one…). Then, there is fog everywhere and I see hands coming out of the graves. I look at the grave in front of me and then I see my father (who is alive) and he grabs my neck and starts pulling me down into the grave. I start kicking and screaming but no matter what, he just keeps pulling me down. Then, I wake up screaming.
Friday’s Nightmare: I am sitting in the back seat of my mother’s truck. My mom is driving, my aunt is in the passenger seat, my cousin is on the side seat in the back, my little sister is in the middle, and I am on the other side seat to my little sister’s right. My little sister is playing her DS while my cousin and I are just talking. Then, outside, it starts going foggy. We all just look at each other. Then, there is a little bridge thing in front of us. As we go forward, we see a guy in front of the car, he isn’t moving. Then, he looks at us, and his face is covered in blood. We all gasp and I cover my little sister’s eyes. She starts crying and my cousin and I comfort her. Then, the guy dissapears and we start seeing graves in front of us and we start screaming. We then see hands coming for the windows and my mom starts trying to speed up. Then, a bloody hands comes to my window leaving blood all over my window. I scream and then I jolt awake. That dream scared the crap out of me and I was scared to get into the car for about 2 weeks.
Saturday’s Nightmare: My family (my mom, dad, little sister, and I) are in a car. There are 2 cars behind us. In one car, there is my uncle, my aunt, and my cousin. In the next, there is My grandmother, my other little cousin, and her brother (my other little cousin too). We are going to the same place, but I have no idea where that is. Then, there is a mansion like place in front of us and there is an entrance for cars. Our car goes in and then the doors close. Then, the car just moves forward by itself. It somehow goes upstairs and then we see blood on the walls and knifes on the ground. Then, we see a few bodies and I scream and cover my little sister. My mother then goes to the back seat with us and hugs us with her dear life. My father holds onto us the whole time. Then, we see some guy and he is holding a knife in front of us. The car stops and he opens the doors. He is about to stap my dad, who is holding us protectively, and then I jolt awake, gasping and there are tears in my eyes.
Sunday’s (Last Night) Nightmare: I am walking in a grave holding hands with my cousin. I ask why we are here and she just looks confused and says that it was my idea and asks why I don’t remember. And then, we go inside a place that is in a graveyard, I think it is called a Mausoleum? Anyway, we go inside and then we see a tomb. I don’t know why, but I open it in some kind of trance. There, we see a dead body of a king or whatever. Then, a ghost hand comes out of the stomach and starts pulling on my cousins neck, dragging her down. She screams and I try to help her. But, then she just goes right through the body and I can’t see her, but I can hear her scream faintly, yelling my name and yelling for help. I gasp and then I start to cry (I think of her as my best friend even though she doesn’t know it..or atleast I don’t think she does..?). Then, I am pulled down also. I kick and scream but it is no use. Then, I am in water. I am not breathing (it is like I don’t have to…). The top is lightish darkish, the bottom is completely dark. I am in the middle, a little darker than the top but not as dark as the bottom. I am struggling to reach the top, but I just can’t. I scream and bubbles escape, floating up and I never see them reach the top. (BTW: I can see clearly in the water). Then, I am cold and I start shivering. Then, it starts going blurry. I try and move and then I try to see where my cousin is. Then, I see an old lady who looks so familar to me. I squint to try and see her. She just calls my name all ghostly (the moaning part). Then, she says, "I haven’t seen you in 7 years…..*insert name here*" I gasp. Then, I a hand pulls my leg and starts pulling me under the water all the way. I kick and scream more. Then, I see a figure and they pull out a knife and is about to stab me. I scream and wake up.
Why do I keep having these dreams? (I know it was long, but that wasn’t even half of what my other dreams are…) I am scared….No, I am not on any medication and I haven’t done anything different. No diet thing I haven’t overworked myself…nothing…..Please help?

I drive a 2001 Volvo cross country station wagon it has had a plethera of odd electrical broblems since we purchased it. Anyway I need to take the car on a long road trip. My current problem is that the drivers side seat heater turns on by itself. I need to know if there is a simple way to disable that function. When I say simple I mean that I have very limited knowledge of cars and I’d like to be able to do this without possible breakign anything and that it can be enabled just as easy. Maybe there’s a plug I understand that this is a complicated question so if anyone responding has good webistes on how to do these things it would be great.
Toyota Camry 2002 LE, Honda Accord 2003 LX, or lease/buy new Camry or Accord?
Hi, I am looking to purchase a mid-sized car (an Accord or Camry). I want to get the best value for my money and am not sure if it’s better to purchase a new car or a used one? By looking locally, I have found two used cars that I may be interested in through dealers:
2003 Honda Accord LX with 73,358 miles and a Powertrain Warranty (not sure what that covers?) until 2010 or 100,000 miles (whichever comes first) LIST PRICE: ,995
2002 Toyota Camry LE with 69,000 miles (actually think it was a little more than 69k for miles) LIST PRICE: ,750. I’m not sure what the warranty is on this car. I noticed this car had some scratches on the passenger dash board, key area too, and some discoloration around the drivers side seat belt wall unit. The gas cover also seemed VERY hard to open I didn’t force it as I didn’t want to break it (I’m sure they could fix before I bought).
Which car is the better deal? Are these good deals or am I better of to try to lease/buy new? Thanks!
My 2001 Dodge Durango seems to have an electrical problem.?
First the door locks began locking and unlocking of their own accord, now nothing on the steering column works ie: cruise control, radio controls, horn. My airbag light is constantly on and my driver’s side seat heater isn’t working!! What’s going on?
