Anyone know classic car values?

In my ventures on craigslist I was asked today if I would consider trading my vehicle (which I am hoping to get around 00 for) for a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am. It has the 400 engine with a 350 turbo transmission. I’ve been trying to figure out about what it’s worth but I’m finding a range from 00-25000 on these cars just based on whether its project condition or show quality. NADA guide lists low-quality retail at 9,750 but I don’t really know what to base it off of. Can anyone help me out?

Here’s what he said it needs done: "The interior is in good condition,it does need a new headliner ,new passenger seatbelt it has one littlte rip in the passenger seat at the seam. The passanger side tail pipe got knocked off thanks to my EX Wife.Runs and drives great.I just had new valve cover gaskets put on last weekend, and a new oil assending unit."

Anyone got any idea? Also, even if it is valued at a good price, how tough would something like this be to sell? I don’t know what the market is like for 70s classic cars these days.

Only 339 tickets sold so far for Alexander vs. Bradley!!!?

http://www.examiner.com/boxing-in-national/pontiac-disaster-339-tickets-sold-for-alexander-bradley-hbo-showdown

This is a shame. Especially since it’s going to be at the 80000 capacity Pontiac Silverdome. I guess they are going to cover most of the seats and shrink the arena to 7000 capacity.

Is HBO, Don King and Gary Shaw doing enough promote this fight? Kind of reminds me of the 750 people who showed up for Berto’s fight in his hometown in Florida and the barren show of fans at Andre Ward’s hometown fight against Sakio Bika. It’s SAD.

Maybe I haven’t apply enough force but are you saying ‘the large end with a hinge should hangs on to the metal part?
Do the small end got to be in the little front hole? I could not fit the small ends, please verify.

2008 Pontiac G8 Showcar to Debut at the 2007 Chicago Auto Show

2008 Pontiac G8 Showcar to Debut at the 2007 Chicago Auto Show

In Chicago: Pontiac has rolled out a showcar version of the new 2008 Pontiac G8, announcing that it is “a representative of the production GT model” that will hit showrooms early next year. The automaker has also released details about the G8 saying that it is going to be the new Pontiac flagship sedan and will be built in Adelaide, Australia.

The G8 is the first North American application of GM’s new global rear-wheel-drive architecture developed by Holden, GM’s Australian subsidiary. The G8 is an important vehicle not only because of its importance to Pontiac but because it is the sister vehicle of the 2009 Chevrolet Camaro.

The G8 showcar is equipped with 362hp V8 and optional six-speed manual transmission. It includes items that are not found on the production model such as 20 inch “shadow chrome” wheels and performance tires, a ride height lowered by about half-inch, high performance brake rotors with painted brake calipers, custom interior trim color with leather-wrapped dash and “phantom gray” exterior paint. Pontiac has also employed a concept monochromatic “modernized” Pontiac badge to get public opinion.

The production G8 lineup will be comprised of two models: G8 and G8 GT. The base G8 is equipped with a 3.6 liter DOHC V6 rated at 261 horsepower at 6,300 rpm and 250 lb-ft of torque at 3,200 rpm. It is paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and a manual shift model.

The G8 GT for its part is given a 6.0 liter small block V8 rated at 362 hp at 5,700 rpm and 391 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 rpm. It is also equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode as standard feature. The six-speed manual transmission is going to be offered after the launching of the G8. Fuel economy numbers are not yet available for both models.

The G8 is fitted on a 114.8 inch wheelbase with 196.1 inch overall length. Its base has a curb weight of 3,885 pounds while the G8 GT weighs 3,995 pounds. GM says that G8 has a close to 50/50 front-to-rear weight balance ratio courtesy of its new architecture.

The global architecture for the G8 is designed to suit the production of both left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive markets around the world. Pontiac has also stressed that the two production G8s will include four-wheel independent suspension, four-wheel disc brakes with ABS and traction control, electronic stability control, 18 inch aluminum wheels, power adjustable front seats, quality auto accessories like GM door handle covers, and fog lamps. A sport package will also be offered with the addition of 19-inch aluminum wheels and performance tires on the GT as well as a rear wing spoiler, leather shift knob, leather wrapped steering wheel, and alloy pedals.

The two production G8 models have distinct styling features. The G8 models are identified through its red tail lamp lenses and twin chrome exhaust outlets while the G8 GT models are given clear tail lamp lenses and quad chrome exhaust tips. Inside the cabin, the G8 GT models have an optional two-tone cloth or leather combination that pairs black with red or blue inserts and color matched instrument faces on certain exterior color combinations.

The G8 is going to compete with Dodge Charger and Nissan Maxima.

One stop shop for car accessories?

I live in Washington and just bought a blood-red 2009 Pontiac G6. I’ve tried walmart, fred meyer’s, and autozone for car accessories but I’m not finding a wide or impressive enough selection of car mats/steering wheel/seat covers. I want something fairly flashy (I’m a twenty year old guy who just bought his first car.) Does anyone know any good stores in the Seattle area or any websites that could set me up right?

Where can I find Ed Hardy seat tanks in the US?

The only place i have seen them for sale is somewhere in China or something like that. I am looking for a love kills slowly set. The normal seat covers looked terrible in my pontiac g5 gt but i think the would work better. Any help is appreciated thanks.

At the local dealership they have a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix with 200,000 miles on it, its 95.

Do you think this car will hold up for 6-12 months or so?
Or do you think its a waste of money?
Also what are the chances of me getting a better price?
Is it worth 1695?

Thanks!!

How can i make the inside of my car my own? I want to decorate it so it has personality.?

Okay so i love my car its a red 97 Pontiac grand prix and im paying for it out the yin yang! but the inside is boring and very unlike me. I am sharing a room with my six year old sister (im 16) and my car is the only place i can call my own! so i want it to show some dazzle!
so far ive pretty much got the front of the car decorated but i also want the back seat decorated.

in the front ive got
On the rear view mirror-
rainbow smell good thing (i realize that’s not wat its really called)
bead necklaces
fuzzy handcuffs (my friend put them there and doesn’t have a key)
sunglasses

matchingg stearing wheel cover, seat belt shoulder pad, and cd holder

since i don’t have much money i didn’t want to waste it on getting seat covers so on my seats i put tank tops on them then my friends and i went even further and put hats and scarfs on then to (we named them Thelma and Louise)

but i have nothing for the back

any suggestions?

Is there something i can buy to cover the back speakers in my trunk so they dont rip from my subwoofers?

I have a 2005 pontiac grand am with 2 12 inch subs in the trunk. When the subs hit the pressure in the trunk is making the back speakers flex way tomuch and they will eventually probably rip as a result. I know that they sell speaker baffels to put over the back of them but i dont think they will hold up because they are only foam. I have heard to fold my back seats down but they dont fold down. Is there some kind of box i can buy to isolate them from the trunk? I have in the mean time faded my music to the front speakers but it does not sound as good. I dont mind if it will decrease the performance or bass response from the back speakers as I have the subs formy bass. They are stock 6×9′s.
