I have a 1968 Dodge Dart Slant-Six. It was originally a Monotone Yellow Hardtop Coupe. I am thinking about restoring it since I have over 90% of the parts. It has very little surface rust and the trunk is solid. Any tips on what I should do. I think this is a very unique car for a slant-six. The interior will be the most work. I found a website and I calculated it would cost about 00 to get all the materials I need to restore the interior (carpet, headliner, bench seat covers, bench seat foam, back bench seat covers, vinyl top, mats, door panels, and a dash pad). What would be the worth after I restore it to 95-100% originality? I checked NADA and they said if it’s perfect it should be around ,500. The link has a photos and information on my car. I know Dodge Man will see this so I was wondering if you were on this site and if you could post your cars on here Thank you.

http://rides.moparmusclemagazine.com/ride/1201275/muumuu101/1968/dodge/dart/index.html

I was thinking later on in life, maybe I will throw in an upgraded 360 with a manual transmission (either a 833 or a tko-500/600), a dana 360 and maybe some cragar rims. So far I haven’t found any good suspension kits.

Any advice would be appreciated. I am just a college student trying to learn how to work on mopars.
Yeah, I just sold my other Dodge Dart this week and half the interior in it was great half was ok, but the body wasn’t too straight, the paint was terrible, it had all the holes where the trim was suppose to go (it had no trim), and the engine (273) wasn’t working properly. He basically wanted it for the bucket seats. But I got 00 for it when I spent 00 for both. I know I can sell this one for at least 00

Hi My 2000 BMW 323ci has been a fantastic car, but I bought it almost 10 years ago. In 10 years of ownership, I’ve raised a boy since from 2 to 12, so there’s been quite a bit of wear inside! Can anyone tell me what the little sliding door is called that covers the storage spot between the two front seats? Also, can I repair, panit or replace the steering wheel buttons that have had the paint rubbed off, or would that require an entirely new wheel?
Here is a pic of the "little sliding door" between the seats, and also where it was before it came off:

Here, you can see the paint rubbed of the steering wheel buttons:

Thanks so very much for your help! I will choose a best answer quickly!

newer 302 engine
automatic forward tilting hood
has a/c
auto door locks and windows
all glass is perfect
no frame rust
power steering

*the bad
it will need a decent amount of body work…
the paint is chipped allover, and in many places where its chipped off on the bed, the metal that can be seen looks rusty, so im not sure if he’s trying to cover up some other problems…
the interior also lacks. they put it some VERY ugly seats that look like the older volvo seats or something, there is no carpet, just a rubber floor mat, and it doesnt have a headliner.

the guy that is selling it is asking 15000 but i think that is far too much considering all the work that it will need, and the fact that he might have just painted over everything to cover up some of the problems with the body.

what do you think it’s worth?

I have driven it around 1500 miles already and it’s been nothing but a pleasure. Just fuel ups. It gave 36 to 37 mpg on a recent 400 mile journey. I serviced it at a Toyota dealership and they had a comment of surprise that this was a very well maintainted car – gave clean bill of health.

hey everyone, i have a 1993 ford ed falcon sedan, it is a ex-military car that was bought at a auction. My dad has had it ever since, it has been treated well, it hasn’t had a great amount of services and i have been the one to change the oil and filters for a year now, i grew up with the car as it has the same age as me, i am currently on my learners and will soon get my p’s. i have spent a lot of money on this car, for paint, door, rear spoiler, gas struts, seat covers ect. and a thing that keeps bugging me is if i should keep it, or get something else? it is a very smooth car to drive and has good power, but it is the engine that keeps eating at me, i keep thinking about the condition of it and wonder if i do something sudden it will destroy the engine. i dont know the condition of the pistons and am constantly worried.. any advice will be greatly appreciated!
