basically cute seat covers mostly interior things, dash covers, stuff like that for a 17 year old girl. i herd of LV (louis vuitton)dashcovers, and steering wheels but im not planning on keeping this car but a few months anyway. I just want it to look nice in the process. any ideas?

bodykits do not look good on a mustang period so please do not give advice on those, if i had an eclipse i would definatly get one but not on a mustang

For my sisters’ Senior year, I asked that they come up with 5k by the end of summer & they came up with 8k for me to sign for a new car for them. Their trade is worth 4500 & with all that as a down payment, these are the cars they have narrowed it down to: A 2010 VW Tiguan that will cost them like 3 a month but it’s LOADED! Bike rack, heated seats & steering wheel, u name it, plus their oil changes, inspection & emissions would be free for the life of the car. A 2010 Mazda3 grand touring 5 door that will cost them like 6 a month & I know that’s not all-wheel or 4 wheel like I wanted them to have but my fiance has one that’s a couple years older & it goes great in snow so I guess I’m okay with that. There’s a 2010 Dodge Nitro we looked at before that will be 6 a month (actually less cuz we didn’t calculate their trade in when we looked). Another we looked at was a new Subaru WRX-STI that’s all-wheel, loaded & would be about 0/month. There was also a Mercedes 2009 M-Class we found that was a demo for a salesman & only has 15k miles, it’s all-wheel & loaded, even heated seats & steering wheel & I can get 0% financing on it, the payments will be slightly higher (3 a month) but I kinda saw their eyes light up when we looked at that. Plus with the payment split in half & that being the only bill they would have other than car insurance. (Dad pays cell bill) They still want to look at a new Pathfinder cuz they love mine but I think I might get jealous if they had a newer one than me, lol. And of course, they both are REALLY trying to talk me into the Dodge Challenger SRT-8 that would cost 0/month that we test drove just for fun but, now they want it. I know they could afford to split the payment on it & my father & I are covering the first 12 months of insurance. All have full warranties until the loan would be paid off. I’m a lil worried about the Challenger cuz I don’t want them to wreck in the snow. (We live in PA) What do you guys think?

I bought a new 2007 Ford Escape about 6 months ago, and it only has 8000 miles on it. After a recent roll over, due to ice, my vehicle has been totaled by the insurance company.

It was a 2 wheel drive XLT, V6 engine. With other features like leather seats, sunroof, cargo privacy cover, and upgraded radio/sound system.

I know a new car loses value after driving off the dealership lot, and that the insurance company is most likely going to give me a check based on the depreciated value of the SUV.

State Farm Insurance uses NADA retail value books, but does anyone have any other idea of how much money I should be expecting?

Hi, I am looking to purchase a mid-sized car (an Accord or Camry). I want to get the best value for my money and am not sure if it’s better to purchase a new car or a used one? By looking locally, I have found two used cars that I may be interested in through dealers:

2003 Honda Accord LX with 73,358 miles and a Powertrain Warranty (not sure what that covers?) until 2010 or 100,000 miles (whichever comes first) LIST PRICE: ,995

2002 Toyota Camry LE with 69,000 miles (actually think it was a little more than 69k for miles) LIST PRICE: ,750. I’m not sure what the warranty is on this car. I noticed this car had some scratches on the passenger dash board, key area too, and some discoloration around the drivers side seat belt wall unit. The gas cover also seemed VERY hard to open I didn’t force it as I didn’t want to break it (I’m sure they could fix before I bought).

Which car is the better deal? Are these good deals or am I better of to try to lease/buy new? Thanks!

One night i was drinking, and when i drink.. i smoke. I had a friend drive my truck and i ended up burning a deep, not wide hole in the passenger seat of my truck. I have covered it up with a blanket, but my husband is thinking of getting a new car for me, and him taking the truck.
Here lies the problem. my husband thinks ive quit!!! LOL. He will flip if he sees this burn hole. Its about as wide as a #2 pencil but a quarter inch deep into the seat. Is there anything i can do?? Don’t they make a product to patch holes?? Its not too bad, but he will spot it like a hawk and i will never live it down…

Ok my BIL/SIL want to give me there son’s old car seat. But I want to know how I could stress to them..(without) hurting there feelings, as I want to get my son a new car seat. Its a cosco Serena car seat from walmart.

Cons.
1. It’s been in there attic and wasn’t cleaned or covered up prior to storing it there. So I don’t know about how the heat would warp the plastic etc
2. It only goes up to 40lbs. I would like something up to 50lbs.
3. When it was installed in there car. I always remember it being overly wobbly and I dont remember seeing them checking the seat belt to see if it’s not to loose. Bc sometimes we would ride with them places while I was pregnant and I had to sit by my nephew.
4. I don’t think it comes with L A T C H system
5. Made in 03 or 04 and doesn’t have Side Impact Testing..
6. I dunno even if it would fit correctly in our car bc its small and they drive a Jeep Grand Cheorkee..2005

Pros.
1. Would only save us about 50 bucks
2. The cosco seat they’ve got hasnt been in an accident tho..

Don’t get my wrong I love them to death, but my husband and I would like to try and save money by buying a good 3 in 1 seat or at least a better convertible seat then get a cosco booster seat later on.We decided to see around tax time to get a seat. So it wouldnt really take out of our budget. The other reason is I would like something that keeps him in 5 point harness longer(and has SIP) bc there son is already in a booster and KNOWS how to un buckle himself while they are driving or have the car stopped but still running. Im not trying to judge ive seen both these incidents with my own eyes. Hes a bit of a wild kid and Ive heard both his parents say this themselves. I dont want to seem like their bad parents, bc they’re not. I know that with somethings they let there son do or say..I wouldn’t with mine. I just want something a little safer and in date. Whatever seat we chose if it stays in good condition I would like to save it for our next child..depending on when it comes.
I wasnt really worried about the dirty part. I could scrub to no end to clean it. I was worried about the safety aspect of the seat. No we only have one car, but I really wish we had a van. Gosh does a baby ever take up some room! ah but I love him any way..

My husband and I are selling our 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T 2D 105K miles V6 3.0L engine, leather seats, power everything, multi cd player IN GOOD COND’T… We owe ,700… kbb is ,500… kbb trade in is ,800. Also, the paint is fading badly (factory defect, not covered by Chyrsler), back end "clunks", A/C makes car run harder, check engine light is on due to malfunctioned air sensor and the alarm has malfunctioned forcing me to unlock the passenger side first.

What should I do… We have a baby coming in December and need a reliable, safe new car (minivan maybe). I’ll be attending nursing school too, which is a 60 mile round trip drive.

We don’t want to trade in, but who is going to want this car?? Any advice??

i just bought a new car and i need to find some things to go with it. its an 08 pontiac grand prix 4dr SE. i need seat covers and walmart just isnt doing it for me. the car is blood red so i need something that would compliment that but i need the walmart prices. i dont know the brand names for seat covers so that would help. i want the bucket and bench. i also need a front car cover (bra) the thing is i can only find one for a 2007 grand prix GT…would that work on mine…is the only difference the engine and not the body style on the 2 models?
