My husband and I are currently sharing our Jeep and our daughters forward facing toddler car seat stays in it while he goes to work, i was wondering if there was a cover of some kind to use while he is at work (which is at night) so i dont need to take it out. He is in construction and things get rather dirty

ok i will start with my truck being parked in front of my house, brand new truck just bought it, couple months old, ok so tags are paid and everything is in order, insurance is good, but the trucks plates haven’t came yet, so no plates on the truck and some papers scattered on the dash covering the vin, unintentionally.

ok im not home——–now the sheriff drives by on her way leaving from a call at another house on the street, she sees my truck parked there with no plates, so she decides to check the vin and run it, but the vin is covered, soooo she calls out a tow truck service and has them pop the door open so she can read the vin, ok so all that sounds kinds legit, i can see the reasoning behind it, ok so now she gets the vin and runs it, and it comes back to me and my jeep is parked right in front of the truck and she runs it also and comes back to me , both all current, so she should be on her way, right?! but no, she decides to go through my back pack that is behind the seat, and finds some boxes of bullets that i keep, just incase one of my friends calls me to go shooting with them..

ok so ironically i had gotten a call from my mother, which she informed me that morning, that my plates had come in the mail the day before, so i wasnt home because i was going back and forth from my moms house to get the plates,so i pull up to my house and see the sheriff standing by my open truck door, so im thinking wtf did someone try to steal it, so i hop out of my girlfriends truck and say whats up here, and she says, are you so n so and i say yes,she is very flustered and nervous and asks me if i have any weapons on me and i hand her my knife, and say thats it, and she never pats me down or nothing and she says she wants to put me in her car, so whatever,now im in the car…

so she ask me if she can search my house for guns and i say no, why do you want to do that , then she asks about the bullets, and i give the reason i stated above, which is the truth,and she asks about the plates and i happen to have them in my hand when i got out of the truck and set them on my girlfriends hood, so i told her what was up with that, now, she calls out a few of her sheriff buddies and they chat for a bit, looking confucsed on what to do, so heres what they come up with, they take my dirtbike helmet from behind the seat, and take my motocross gloves and my nylon mask that i wear under the helmet, she puts em on the hood and then putts the bullets and the back pack on the hood, takes a button up shirt i had hanging in the back puts it on the hood, starts taking pictures of it, and she tells me she is gonna have it held for investigation of a robbery in another county.

and she askes my girfriend if she can search the house and my girlfriend tells he no, for what.?

and so now she is frustrated, and asks for one of the other deputies to take me to the station, not to jail, but just to the station, and so they do, and i am never handcuffed or read any rights, or anything like that, the deputy takes me from the car into that little holding room , and she goes away,and then these other three deputies come to the report table, and have a seat and start filling out reports, 2 female and 1 male, and i am pacing back and forth and he says what the phuck are you doing and say, standing here, why whats up, he says handcuff your self to the bench,and i say what for, and he says, before i blow your phucken head off, so not wanting to get jumped in the sheriff station, i do it,but like i said, i was never searched or anything ,i could have had a gun on me the whole time.

now the first deputy on the seen shows up at the station, and pulls me from the little room and brings me out to the front where i sign some release papers, and she gives me back my knife and says your free to go, and opens the door to the street, and off i go, no questions from her or anything,
-now i know she only had me taken into custody, to try to make a good reason why she was going through my things in my truck, that would make it justified-she made a boo boo and was trying to cover her butt..and then when i went to get my truck from the impound, it cost 4hundred bucks, now if it was taken for investigation of something than, it should have been released to me for free, but i didnt even get a ticket or anything,
a ticket for nothing , because i didnt do anything, and then she holds my property that she took from my truck, and i call day after day after day and she wont get on the phone, so finally i call the district attorney and inquire about the charges and why are they holding my property and he says we have no record of anything going on under your name, and tells me to call her and tell her that you just talkes to me and to stop holding my property under false pretense, so i call back down there and tell her whats up and how the tone changed, oh you can come and pick up your property right now, so the whole thing was fabricated so she could justify going through my property in my truck. and to top it off , i had to pay to get my truck out, and all this for nothing.-
What was the probable cause. everything was put away. nothing was visable or illegal

Having troubles getting a solid price I should offer for this vehicle.

It is a 80′s Model Jeep, 68000 miles
Its engine is a 151 – 4 cylinder, and was rebuilt a year and a half ago.
Also the transmission has been rebuilt, at about the same time.

There is a few leeks in the engine, such as the valve covers.
The air conditioning doesn’t work, heat does though.

The cosmetics of this vehicle are pretty bad, the outside looks decent, but the inside has torn seats, the door leeks water through, overall the inside is beat up the worst out of everything.

Also this vehicle does have a winch, looks pretty rusted over though.

Any takes on how much this Jeep might cost?

I am looking to take a year or so off after high school to just travel, take a road trip across america, so i need a car that has enough cargo space for my stuff and has a back seat so if i need to sleep in the car i can but it also needs to be inconspicuous so its not broken into in the middle of the night at a motel and it has to have a CD player and preferably a navigation system also air conditioning and a heater would be great =D and of course it has to have good gas mileage and 4WD just in case for when life throws me something unexpected, I’m thinking along the lines of a SUV, crossover, or mini-van. I am a girl but i really don’t care about looks as long as it gets me from A to B, right. basically i’m looking for a car I can run into the ground… so to speak!!!!!
yeah I’ve looked at the cherokee and outback and I like them both but I’m looking for more suggestions ….. you’d be surprised at how few used outbacks there are!!!!! plenty of cherokees but my first thought was the outback and my bro had a jeep and I didnt like it too much it wasn’t very comfortable but i’m still looking into it cuz he had a liberty and the cherokee is different I’m just looking for more possibilities and quick question who makes the broncos ????

I went on Etsy.com and asked if somebody could make me custom seat covers for my Jeep, end of June.
A lady responded saying she would love to, we talked, i sent the payment and she was supposed to get back to me as soon as they were done.
Long story short, i talked to her all the way up to freakin September and sh kept making excuses as to why they weren’t done.
Sept.22 she said they sent and should be at my place within a week.
Wrote her back beginning of October saying there’s no possible way she sent them & that was the last time she replied to me.
I sent the money through Paypal but it said that if i didn’t try to get the money back before 45 of the payment going through, theres nothing they can do.

I spent 0 on absolutely nothing;
does anyone know if there is a way i can get my money back or somethin!?

Jeep PU 1963 Gladiator J3000 4×4 amc 327. how much would it cost to rebuild this engine my myself? not for a bunch of upgrades, just a rebuild for good solid strong running condition? looking into buying one from my dads friend and trying to figure out how much repair will cost. other things if you could answer would be great are the price of… rubber door gaskets,3 point seatbelt aka your regular seatbelt it currently only has a belt seat belt,to reapolster the seat or a seat cover, set of tires, and any other common issues that may occur/happen with these trucks. thanks for reading and possibly helping oh and trust me if you answer you will almost definitely help me thanks

Ok, so i recently discovered the soft top hardware for my jeep is in really bad condition and its gonna need new hardware. i thought that if i were to get a windjammer or tonneau cover type of a top i wouldnt need the factory hardware for the soft top. But…..i dont wanna remove the back seat. Can i Just fold it down for any top like i’m talking about??? Some even said about the tops working with the factory soft top bow assembly. I was confused upon that as well b/c i didnt think i used the hardware on these kinds of tops; or is this something else?
