I am getting my first car and its kind of old so its not in the best condition. I want to style it up and put some cute seat covers and a steering wheel cover. Maybe even mats. The car is a red ford and the interior is a tan color. Any advice?

this is my first car and since its a jeep it is not know for securtiy but i have some neoprene seat covers and other semi valuable stuff in there do people steal from jeeps alot i mean there are alot of parts that can be screwed of

I just got my first car, a 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora in white.

I LOVE it.

I’m looking for ways to personalize it. And no, I don’t mean tweety bird seat covers or Hawaiian floor mats. I’m all DIY- cutting, sewing, organizing, decorating…

I’m crafty- I want to make things for it! I’m thinking of things like a cute trash can that will fit in the glove box or hang on the back of my seat, cutting things out (quotes, pictures, etc.) To tape to my dash, I’m hanging a beaded necklace from my mirror (I know- shame, shame. Don’t lecture me! Haha) I want to make organization compartments for the center console, maybe cute trunk storage.I’m scrap-bookey and creative, but I want ideas! I’m home sick and bored out of my mind.

Have any other cute ideas?

Ok. So, today i finally brought home my very first Corrado. Its a Black 1990 G60. Very nice cosmetically, not so much mechanically or electrically. There is literally no rust . But there are problems. And LOTS of them.
PROBLEMS:
Brakes are very unresponsive and VERY hard to push.
Head lights are extremely dim and I cannot see in the dark.
Blinkers/four-ways don’t work. Back or front.
Electric Seat belts don’t work.
Sun roof doesn’t open. Or seal.
Heater doesn’t produce much heat, although it is warm.
Car overheats QUICKLY when idling. This may have something to do with the heat problem ^^ maybe i need a new heater core
Runs and drives decent.
I’m just hoping that these are common, and easy fix problems. Hoping.
I paid 1800 for the car. Drove it home. Think i got a deal… or got cheated…??

Just hooked my first job, and got my first car. A 1989 4×4 white nissian truck…. replaced pretty much everything in it but the engine and its hummin like a bird and runs smooth….. inside is in-tact but the seats have holes, steering wheel is slippery and ugly , floor isnt carpet and is soar on the eyes…. looking to spice it up… gonna buy seat covers, floor matts, steering wheel cover, shift knob, and possibly some LED strips for under the truck/and or inside….. any thoughts on what color for all this? black/blue, black/red or solid black…. (for the led color and the inside mats and stuff) ? any other ideas to spice up my truck guys? thanks a bunch

So I got my first car on new years. It’s a 1988 BMW, I’ve seen it once, not exactly sure all the details because I know slim to none about cars. The only thing I don’t like is the seats, they are bright red leather. Is there ANY way I can just change them, I believe taking them out would cost a lot of money, so should I just buy seat covers? That may get a little too hot in the summer since I live in Vegas. Please help!

I was thinking about getting hot pink steering wheel covers and hot pink floor mats and maybe hot pink seat covers. I’m not much of a pink person but I just think that would be very cute. My question is do you think the pink will clash with the burgandy? or should I try another color?

Also, if you have any ideas on how to make the car really cute, let me know (by the way i’m a 21 year old girl.)

I live in Washington and just bought a blood-red 2009 Pontiac G6. I’ve tried walmart, fred meyer’s, and autozone for car accessories but I’m not finding a wide or impressive enough selection of car mats/steering wheel/seat covers. I want something fairly flashy (I’m a twenty year old guy who just bought his first car.) Does anyone know any good stores in the Seattle area or any websites that could set me up right?

I have been searching for the right car. My dream car above others is a 72′ Charger, but I’m flexible. My uncle and I have been wanting to rebuild a car ever since I told him I was interested in learning about cars. Here is a list of the following makes:
-oldsmobile(1968-1972)
-chevrolet(1967-1985)
-dodge(1967-1974)
I would like anything that is not too big of a project just minimum rust and cosmetic damage we can handle anything under the hood. I don’t want a ground up project just yet. This is going to be my first car so if I have to just throw some seat covers on and roll the windows down I don’t mind. My uncle is a mechanic, so he knows his cars.
