Family get-togethers at my house are always a little bit strange. For one thing, these events usually revolve around some kind of task or situation that requires the expertise of my father. Last weekend was a prime example. Saturday afternoon my father and brother arrived hungry. While my father crawled under my truck to inspect the leaking brake line, I heat up the grill, place plates and utensils on the patio table, and start covering the watermelon with ice. After serving everyone bratwursts, lots of tomatoes, and sauerkraut, I light the citronella candles and settled down to eat. The next morning, my dad and brother arrived early, and they were hungry again. I organized the table, usher them to their seats, and start breakfast. A dozen eggs, pieces of bacon, and some bread later, my male relatives were ready to attack the leaky brakes of my Dodge Dakota.

For my sisters’ Senior year, I asked that they come up with 5k by the end of summer & they came up with 8k for me to sign for a new car for them. Their trade is worth 4500 & with all that as a down payment, these are the cars they have narrowed it down to: A 2010 VW Tiguan that will cost them like 3 a month but it’s LOADED! Bike rack, heated seats & steering wheel, u name it, plus their oil changes, inspection & emissions would be free for the life of the car. A 2010 Mazda3 grand touring 5 door that will cost them like 6 a month & I know that’s not all-wheel or 4 wheel like I wanted them to have but my fiance has one that’s a couple years older & it goes great in snow so I guess I’m okay with that. There’s a 2010 Dodge Nitro we looked at before that will be 6 a month (actually less cuz we didn’t calculate their trade in when we looked). Another we looked at was a new Subaru WRX-STI that’s all-wheel, loaded & would be about 0/month. There was also a Mercedes 2009 M-Class we found that was a demo for a salesman & only has 15k miles, it’s all-wheel & loaded, even heated seats & steering wheel & I can get 0% financing on it, the payments will be slightly higher (3 a month) but I kinda saw their eyes light up when we looked at that. Plus with the payment split in half & that being the only bill they would have other than car insurance. (Dad pays cell bill) They still want to look at a new Pathfinder cuz they love mine but I think I might get jealous if they had a newer one than me, lol. And of course, they both are REALLY trying to talk me into the Dodge Challenger SRT-8 that would cost 0/month that we test drove just for fun but, now they want it. I know they could afford to split the payment on it & my father & I are covering the first 12 months of insurance. All have full warranties until the loan would be paid off. I’m a lil worried about the Challenger cuz I don’t want them to wreck in the snow. (We live in PA) What do you guys think?

Ok i have a 98 dodge dakota single cab and i cut the hole behind the seats for the blow through… and i already have the bed cover so i can throw some knock in the back!!

Ok, now take me seriously here. Last night I had a dream I was walking up the road at night. A truck passes by and seems to be unusually tall, and my steps seem to be covering more ground. The truck loops around, comes back, goes past again and then comes back and pulls over in front of me. Then they reverse so it parks about 2 yards in front of me. A man gets out. He turns on a flashlight and I am momentarily blinded. He starts to say "Shoo, get out of here, SHOO!" he seems frightened. He throws the flashlight at me, it goes past me, he throws a book, I dodge it. Then I start to back away, all the while asking "What the hell’s your problem man?" He cusses and grabs a pistol from the back seat. I run off into the woods. He picks up the flashlight and holds the gun and the flashlight pretty close together. He follows into the woods for a few feet, but I’m running into the dark forest. He shouts and starts to back out. Then another guy gets out of the truck with a rifle and the two pursue me into the forest. The flashlight is their only sorce of light, but I can see fine. It was a cloudy night, too. Yet another guy gets out but he only has a flashlight and a cell phone. So there are 3 guys chasing me. Their about a football field behind me, but the woods are relatively easy to move through and thus, see through. I am pretty far out ahead, but I still hear their yelling. I hear a gunshot. I rip off my clothes and burst full speed ahead, leaping over ditches and brush, at about 30 miles a hour, and eventually I wind up in my own backyard. I go in, get dressed, and go to get some food. Then I go to bed. In the dream I left the lamp light on. In real life I wake up and the lamp is on. My neighbor said that their friend who visited all week and left last night saw a wolf-like animal that one of them said barked and snarled a lot at them before running into the forest and vanishing.

I was in a car accident 4 days ago. My Mother was the passenger in my car (I was driving). I was on the off ramp getting off the freeway. All cars behind me were stopped. I was stopped waiting to make a right turn. An emergency vehicle was coming in my direction from my left. Therefore, I was waiting for the emergency vehicle to pass. The person behind me (large dodge ram truck I am in an ‘08 2 door Infiniti coupe) thought I went so he ‘gunned it’ to get in front of the emergency vehicle. Unfortunately, we had not gone so he pushed my vehicle out in front of the emergency vehicle. Luckily, I was able to turn my car out of the way. I did not hit anyone (no one was in front of me). My Mother and I were both put into a gurney and taken to a local hospital in an ambulance. We both had our seat belts on and suffered whiplash. We were released 5-6 hours later after x-rays, etc. We were both prescribed medicine. My Mother has had 3 brain tumors and has trouble with her speech etc. and any violent startling trauma can get her shaken up pretty badly and confused. I know she hit her head but, she is in pain but not nearly as much as I am. With my Mother’s condition I don’t know if this kind of thing can have negative effects later on. I know that my neck and back is pretty messed up. It hurts to stand for after 15 minutes or so. My car is pretty messed up and had to be towed. I plan on taking it back to the Infiniti shop to get all new parts. My car has all the upgrades in it so I want it to be taken care of. Am I allowed to take it to the Infiniti dealership or will Geico (the other persons insurance) not allow that, or does it not matter? The police gave the guy that hit us a citation. I have USAA and the other person has Geico. I just want to know exactly what to do in this situation. Since I’m out a car (I work for myself) I have been out (already) a decent amount of money for not being able to meet up with my clients. I spoke to my insurance today and they said that all my medical is covered since I had that already in my plan (without it raising my premium) and that I should get a settlement ON TOP of paying for damages to my car and getting me a rental, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I don’t want to get taken for a ride. I’ve heard the horror stories of dealing with insurance companies. Any advice on what I should make a point of saying to the other insurance company, etc. Thanks in advance….
This happened in Arizona. I was told that I should contact an attorney but, I don’t want to have to pay the attorney fees/split the settlement if I don’t need to. Please advice…

I am trading a 2005 Dodge Dakota Laramie 4×4 with a 4.7 liter V8, and a 6-disc infinity stereo, leather power seats, linex spray in bed liner, and about with chrome door and tailgate handles, taillight covers, ventvisors, exhaust tip, toolbox. It has 24,500 miles on it. I am trading it for a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab with a Hemi 4×4 SLT with 9650 miles, it has cloth seats, and the big horn package. My Dakota is in Excellent condition and Blue book trade in is ,300. How much do you think that the difference should be that I have to pay, it is at a new Chevy Dealer.

I have a quad cab dodge ram(4door) and I bought some boxes for under the seats, but the subs won’t fit because they have a cage-like thing around the magnet. So now I’m going to just get a regular box and put it on the seat(less people I have to haul around).
I already have a box, it is like the one in the picture. It has a plexi-glass covering and 4 port-holes, I’ll be honest. It sounds like crap. My friend has a regular box, like the other one in the picture(pretend the port isn’t there) and his sounds really good. My speakers are better than his, he has regular grade kickers and I have really nice Infinity’s. Which box would you reccomend for a clean crisp sound. I don’t want all the echoing of the bass and rattling my whole truck. I just want it to hit really hard on every type of beat there is.

I have an 02 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab and I would like to put some sub-woofers inside. the problem is that there is a back seat and underneath that seat there are plastic platforms that will fold out to cover the entire back. There appears to be no room for any subs, so does anyone see a solution or know of something that’ll work? Thanks for the help
I don’t think removing the seat is an option. What about shallow mount subs in the doors? Anyone have any good experience with those?
Where would you suggest exactly that I put the Powered Sub(the tube)?
