Mazda Az-wagon Custom Style Series: Bolder, Better

Mazda Az-wagon Custom Style Series: Bolder, Better

The Mazda Motor Corporation announced the addition of the new Custom Style series to its AZ-Wagon micro-mini range. The said series unites a bolder styling to make the A-Z wagon even better than its predecessor. The flashy exterior of the car is blended with the classy black interior so as to boost quality look and feel. Sales transactions have commenced since 23 February at all Mazda, Mazda Anfini and Mazda Autozam dealerships throughout Japan.

The Mazda AZ wagon offers two grades – the Custom Style DI that comes with a direct injection (DI) turbo-charged engine, and the Custom Style X which now offers a variable valve timing (VVT) engine. Manufacturer suggested retail prices (MSRP) range from 1,197,000 to 1,608,600 yen and that is inclusive of the consumption tax. The target monthly sales of the car are 2,200 units.

The Custom Style DI flaunts the premium quality grille with xenon high intensity discharge (HID) headlights to offer a prominent stance. The distinct bonnet and the wraparound bumper enhanced the bolder appearance of the car. Aside from the bolder and more stylish exterior, the car also features an interesting blend of taillights to boost the styling given on the Custom Style models.

The Custom Style series are also equipped with exclusively designed 14-inch alloy wheels, turn indicator lights that are attached to the door mirror covers, and striking body colors to make every passerby be stunned by its grandeur. The Mysterious Violet Pearl which is a deep purple body color is made available for the first time. Other body colors for the vehicle include Pearl White, Silky Silver Metallic, Bluish Black Pearl 3 and Azure Grey Pearl Metallic. If the Mysterious Violet Pearl or the Pearl White is chosen by a purchaser, the price will be increased by 21,000 yen already inclusive of tax. Also, a separate recycling fee of 9,370 yen is required in addition to the MSRP listed. The said amount also is tax inclusive.

The classy black interior is augmented by the use of black fabric on seats and door trim. The glittering effect of the light reflecting particles on the door armrests and instrument panel center stack garnish made it more regal and fascinating. The interior of the Custom Style series flaunts the black metallic aura that is further boosted by the airvent and meter dial bezel rings of same color.

Aside from style, comfort is also given a greater importance. Enhanced ergonomics features include the Advanced Keyless Entry & Start system, which is made standard; and a fully automatic air conditioning to maintain cool and pleasant ambience. A high-grade sound system is also part of the Custom Style DI model grade package. The system includes an exclusive audio tuning unit with a seven-speaker setup that covers front and rear door speakers, front tweeters and a sub-woofer, to produce an invigorating audio environment inside the car.

The Mazda AZ wagon, based on the Suzuki Wagon R and Autozam minicar marque, was introduced in Japan in 1994. It uses the same 3-cylinder 657cc engine that the Mazda Carol uses. The new 658cc DOHC engine substituted the aging SOHC 657cc. It is complemented by Mazda cold air intake to push the car’s performance to a notch higher. The design of the car was refreshed in 2001. Now, the car is ready to cater to customization desires as it endeavors to be more imaginative, striking and personal.

Custom Dash Gauges, Pods and Dash Covers: a Guide

Custom Dash Gauges, Pods and Dash Covers: a Guide

Customizing your ride does not stop with the exterior.  There are many ways to add style and function to the interior of your ride.  While interior lighting, custom shifter knobs, steering wheels and seats offer you many benefits, one area that must not be overlooked is your dash.  Dash gauges offer you numerous benefits, allowing you to track every nuance of vehicle performance, from oil pressure/temperature to turbo and supercharger operation and your RPMs. Custom gauge pods and dash covers will give you the look you need and house your accessories.

Why should you purchase custom dash gauges for your ride? Most automakers provide very few gauges in the dash.  The speedometer, a temperature gauge, the odometer and the fuel gauge are all that the OEM usually includes. While that small selection is fine for commuters and standard drivers, those who add performance enhancements to their vehicles usually require more in the way of information.

Custom dash gauges provide you with a wide range of information.  For instance, many vehicles do not have a tachometer today; even straight shift models sometimes lack this fundamental gauge.  You can purchase aftermarket tachometers that even provide you boots information. Water temperature, oil temperature, exhaust temperature, air-fuel mixture readings, voltmeters for gauging your battery power and oil pressure gauges are all more than handy.  For the serious tuner, these gauges are vital.

To hold those gauges, you’ll need gauge pods.  These are aftermarket housings that adhere or screw to your dash or A column.  Custom gauges fit inside the pods, providing a sleek, streamlined look for your interior.  You’ll find pod clusters in sets of two and three, or even more.  In addition, you can choose from a wide range of different colors.  Different styles mount in different locations.  While the top of your dash is the traditional place to mount gauges, the A column offers you ready access to the information and a great racecar look.

Another popular option is that of gauge faceplates.  These are custom colored gauge covers that fit over your existing gauges.  Dash cluster removal is necessary for installation of these babies, though; make sure you know what you are doing before you choose to install them in your ride.  White, red, blue and several other colors are available, as are “glow” effect faceplates.

Additionally, dash covers give you a way to protect your dash from the damaging effects of sunlight, while still maintaining a great look.  Dash covers are custom made to fit your OEM dash and can be configured with numerous side panels and add-ons.  These are available in several different colors, though black and tan are the two favorites.

Regardless of the exact gauge configuration you choose, you’ll find that installing gauges, dash covers and gauge pods can add a great look to your ride, as well as providing you with the information that you need about engine performance.  A true tuner needs all the information available, in order to ensure proper engine performance.

Custom Home Theaters Quick Tips

Custom Home Theaters Quick Tips

We have all enjoyed watching movies at the cinemas. The atmosphere and the good sense of relaxing that comes with the movie theater trip can seldom be duplicated. Let’s face it, this might be one of our motivating factors to go. We certainly know it isn’t for there excellent price specials.

Sometimes you may have wished that you could have stayed at home to watch the flick instead. The technology of today has made this a reality for a great many of us. Custom home theaters can truly make your home movie watching even more pleasurable. Now, lets look at a few items that are needed in this home theater.

Now what can you do to have a custom home theater? Well to get the custom home theaters look and feel you will need a separate room for the theatre experience. One that is solely dedicated to the home theater room. Trust me many have tried to have a room serve more than this purpose and it’s never really worked out. This room will need to be transformed into a movie plaza. To accomplish this you will need to get rid of all the other stuff that you have crowded in the room.

This means nothing that isn’t contributing to your new home theater room. This means no treadmill or elliptical, no bean bags or futons and no other erroneous stuff that has no home in the house. This is important, because you must be able to have room for the seating.

You will need to see if there is enough light in the room to give your custom home theater the necessary atmosphere that it may need. Also, is must be enough lighting for the other tasks that you might be doing. With lighting you have many options. One that you might consider is dimming styled light fixtures. This way you can have the light you need for most occasions, if it is needed.

One of the best ways that you can have oodles of lights in the room, without having to wire in new light fixtures, is to buy some floor lamps that have multiple lights. Now if you can get these lights to swivel in various directions you can then position the lights where they will do the greatest good in various custom home theater designs.

After having emptied your home base (that extra room) for custom home theaters and the accessories that are required you need to find a home for your big projection screen. This home must be strategically placed in the room, so where ever you sit it is comfortable viewing. Remember, one of the goals is comfort. It also should be situated preferably where sunlight and other lights in the room won’t surface to be a big distraction. Any windows that are in the room can be covered with tasteful drapes. However, the best scenario is to have a room with no windows.

Now having lugged your brand new home theater projection system (big screen TV) into place you will need to see about the seating arrangements. The main goal in custom home theaters is that your family and friends should be very comfortable during the movie watching period. Hence you will need to see about having a good home theatre seating arrangement.

There are several different arrangements one can have. So, discover and document your needs. For instance, how many people on the average do you want to accommodate? Do you have kids that have friends? Does your family like to entertain guests on a frequent basis? Just a few things to ask yourself. This will give you a better understanding of your home theater needs.

There are many places on the Net where you can get various dissimilar home theater chairs and accessories to add to the various looks that you want in custom home theaters. The accessories can be minimal and still have a good look.

When you have added all of these items into your new entertainment center you will find that you have recreated a movie theater right in your home. Now you can sit back, with popcorn in hand and enjoy the show.

WOOD PERGOLAS | METAL PERGOLAS | FIBERGLASS PERGOLAS | VINYL PERGOLAS | CUSTOM MADE PERGOLAS

WOOD PERGOLAS | METAL PERGOLAS | FIBERGLASS PERGOLAS | VINYL PERGOLAS | CUSTOM MADE PERGOLAS

Pergolas are being used in our yards and gardens a lot these days. This is primarily due to their versatility and the simple cover they make for many of our areas. Pergolas are free standing structures that are made of wood, metal, vinyl, fiberglass, and are just good looking structures to have in our yards. They also provide great opportunities for landscaping and screening.

BUILDING PERGOLAS – Building a pergola is not difficult at all and the average homeowner can build a pergola with a decent set of plans. These plans will give you all of the dimensions and if you purchase the right plans you will also get a complete materials list which makes your material shopping easy and also allows you to get several bids on the materials you will need. There is a lot of flexibility in the style of pergola you can build and I am sure you can find a plan well within your skill level.

KIT FORMS OF PERGOLAS – There are many online sources for finding kit forms of pergolas today and they make it really easy for installation. Even if you decide to build one yourself you can now buy concrete pillars/columns and have them shipped to your house. From there you can construct the pergola you want depending how you set the concrete pillars. But with all of the choices out there today you can probably easily find the kit form of pergola you want for your yard.

CUSTOM MADE PERGOLAS – You can obviously have a carpenter come to your house and have a pergola made but there are also companies that will build you a custom pergola and in kit form and have it shipped to your house. Now you get the best of both worlds in that you have a kit form of a pergola but you also have one custom made to fit your needs.

WHAT MATERIAL TO CHOOSE FROM FOR MY PERGOLA? –  This is probably going to be a function of whether you are trying to match anything in your yard or near your house. Most all pergolas that are purchased in kit form hold up well. Pergolas can be purchased that are made out of vinyl, metal, fiberglass, and wood. They come in all shapes, colors, and sizes.

HOW DO I MOUNT MY PERGOLA? You can put your pergola on a concrete slab by using concrete mounting brackets, you can set your pergola on a gravel base and leave it free standing, you can set a pergola on  stone pillars or posts, and you can plant posts in the ground and build your pergola from the posts.

USES FOR PERGOLAS – The primary purpose of a pergola is to provide cover to some area or object.  Pergolas are used to cover entertainment or sitting areas, to cover spas, patios, barbeque areas or outdoor kitchens. The roof of the pergola can be solid providing complete rain protection or the roof can be beamed or slated and therefore partially open. There are many uses for pergolas including covers for areas in which to hold weddings or other special events or parties. Some pergolas structures have seating built into them and some pergola structures are used for screening purposes.
