-93-pound Collie/Canaan Dog mix AND 48-pound Border Collie/Cattle Dog mix.
-Shedding and front seat restriction are not an issue

I just want to preserve my relic of a car lol. I have improvised with "traditional" dog covers by stuffing the head rest straps down the back of the seat and wrapping the other straps around the seat-belt hooks, but I want something that’s meant for the headless seat. Some dog covers are known for the straps ripping off, so if you know of it doing that then please let me know so I can keep an eye out. Please provide a brand or name and as much info about the cover that you know, like the material, hammock or regular style, strap durability, waterproof or not, etc. Not so much looking for luxury, more so functionality however ALL suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

Toyota Launched the 2009 Corolla

The Toyota Corolla is a compact car produced by the Japanese automaker Toyota. In 1997, the Corolla was recognized to be the best selling car model in the world, with over 30 million sold as of 2007. The name Corolla is Latin for “small crown”. It follows the Toyotas naming tradition of using the name Crown for their cars.

The tenth-generation Toyota Corolla was launched for the 2009 model year. The 2009 Corolla is a 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan, available in 8 trims, ranging from the Base 5-Spd MT to the XRS 5-Spd AT.

“The Base 5-Spd MT is equipped with a standard 1.8-liter, I4, 132-horsepower engine that achieves 27-mpg in the city and 35-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. The XRS 5-Spd AT is equipped with a standard 2.4-liter, I4, 158-horsepower engine that achieves 22-mpg in the city and 30-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.” The new Corolla has made many improvements to its power train, auto parts and chassis.

It’s evident that the new design has not evolved much from the old ones. One thing is sure that the new car’s exterior is improved, only not as impressive as most of the competitors.

The exterior features standard P205/55R16 tires with full wheel covers, color-keyed front and rear underbody spoilers, fog lamps, front sport seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, black headlamp housing, chrome exhaust tip.

Its interior is described as roomy, comfortable seats, simple, and has logically placed controls.

The drivers’ seat is extremely soft and comfortable with lower-back support as well as more thigh support.

All models will be equipped with a heavy
duty rear window defogger, a satellite-ready AM/FM/CD audio system with
MP3/WMA capability, auxiliary audio input jack, tilt and telescopic steering
wheel, 60/40 split folding rear seats, and much more.

Safety features include standard driver and front
passenger airbags, front seat-mounted side airbags and two-row side curtain
airbags. Front seats employ active headrests as standard equipment. Toyota’s Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is standard on
all models of the Corolla, and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) is standard on
the XRS.

According to usnews.rankingsandreviews.com the 2008 model received very good scores in government and insurance industry crash tests. So even though the 2009 Corolla has not yet been crash tested we all can rely on its road safety because all safety features for the 2008 is also featured for the 2009, only improved.

um, relatively unexpensive, seeing how i dont have a garage and would hate to have it stolen like it would already suck to have to buy a new window, but having all that invested in the interior? no thanks? would chair cushions work or wht? i just want the passenger to get in like oohh thats soft and me be like yeh i know im about to fall asleep myself

I don’t know manual cars so that is out of the equation. I need help in preferably learning which model cars are the best as used cars anywhere from ,000 – ,000.
The used car has to be able to drive me from an apartment to college to work to appointments. I want something I can customize later (taillights, inside (red seat covers, etc) and possibly tint 3 back windows.

I drive a 96 Corolla now and it’s my mom’s. I can’ t use it anymore and let’s not delve into details as to why I’m moving out.
I am looking for safety, good gas mileage, and something that lasts as reliable as older Toyota engines. I’d like to buy a Ford or anything American made but I know nothing about models. A LOT of people on my campus have Jeep Liberty’s, Grand AM’s, Ford Focus’s and Honda Civics but it’s out of my price range I think? My friend has a 184,000 mileage used Honda Civic that works just fine.

I’m asking here because I’d like user advice/opinions.

I am having trouble finding a mirror that will stay put in the backseat of my car so I can see my baby in her rear facing car seat.
I bought one but it has a strap that is supposed to keep it up-right, the problem is this strap is supposed to connect to something on the rear deck (under the rear window)and I don’t have anythig for it to connect to.
I have tried velcro hooks, but they don’t stay put because the rear deck is covered with carpet.
The car is a 1991 Toyota Corolla.
If anyone has had this same problem or has a suggestion it would be very much appreciated
the car has no headrests
