-93-pound Collie/Canaan Dog mix AND 48-pound Border Collie/Cattle Dog mix.
-Shedding and front seat restriction are not an issue

I just want to preserve my relic of a car lol. I have improvised with "traditional" dog covers by stuffing the head rest straps down the back of the seat and wrapping the other straps around the seat-belt hooks, but I want something that’s meant for the headless seat. Some dog covers are known for the straps ripping off, so if you know of it doing that then please let me know so I can keep an eye out. Please provide a brand or name and as much info about the cover that you know, like the material, hammock or regular style, strap durability, waterproof or not, etc. Not so much looking for luxury, more so functionality however ALL suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

Confused there with all letters/numbers. Also, power steering went out. Is it necessarily the pump or could it be just hoses are shot or belt? Is his Point A to Point B car and he’s paid cash for it, so want to help if I can. Also, there is no back seat….currently. Do these just snap in or are they bolted to frame when it comes to putting one back in from perhaps junkyard or something? Any help is appreciated!

hi! i was in a car accident on Nov.8th in Maine. we were all stopped at a light and some lady without insurance blasted the guy behind me, which in turn caused a 5 car accident with me in the middle. from the impact from the back and the the front, my hat ended up in the back seat and i had immediate back pain. i went to the chiropractor the next day and got x-rays. it pushed 2 of my vertabrae together (casuing headaches) and somehow shifted my hip, making one leg shorter than the other. i was goin to the chiro 3 times a week, then 2 times a week, then 1, over the course of the last 3 months. i just got released Monday, but feel its not quite over. my car insurance has fixed my car, paid my medical bills and i am now dealing with an uninsured motorist claim with them, and they are seriously low balling me. my car repairs were 00 and my chiro bill was about 00. i did not loose any time at work, cuz i am the ONLY worker.i cook for 20 college guys at a frat house, so i HAD to work. i worked, stooped, lifted and everything that comes with gettin groceries, putting away the food truck order and was unable to do ANY cleaning for the 1st month. the 1st 2-3 weeks after the accident were the absolute worse trying to work. they offered me 00 and my coverage covers about 4 more chiro appointments. i wa stold if i take it to small claims, i can get upto 00. so isjut need to know how much i should settle for. thank you for your time.

I was in a car accident today in Michigan, where I live. We were going down a 2-way 4-lane road in the left lane. There is no center turning lane. We had stopped for a car in front of us who was waiting to make a left turn over a double yellow. We were sitting there waiting for this car to turn as we couldn’t make our way over to the right lane to go around due to traffic, & next thing thing you know we were rear-ended by a guy in a truck. My car is a 1994 Dodge Shadow ES. The back end is smashed in really bad up to the back seat and the back window shattered. So it’s just the trunk thats been compressed. It is however no longer legally drivable (no lights, no bumper, no way to fit a new window in, tires are in contact with the smashed metal). The siding is pretty messed up due the impact as you cant open any of the doors. Everyone’s alright, though my sister, who happened to be driving, was taken into the hospital by the ambulance just to make sure there was no damage because she was feeling pain in her neck & back. Shes ok. I just want to know where to go from now legally as far as my losses with the vehicle & expenses put into it.
I’m at no fault. From what I was told, the kid has plpd insurance? I have really no fault insurance (?) Not sure what kind. (Though I should, shouldnt I?) The car is no longer legally drivable. So I’m basically out of a car. The police had it towed and he said it doesn’t cost me anything, but shouldn’t it if I wanted to take it out and have it towed back to my house? Its BS that they didnt let me figure out the towing myself if they are going to charge me for release..
Other than that I’m concerned about getting back the losses from the guy thats responsible..
The vehicle is retailed at no more than 00, but 00 has been put into it in the last year. I also have 2 amps, a subwoofer, and 2 speakers that due to him rear-ending me I may be losing out on (Ill see when I check the damages tomorrow). That stuff is only about 1 1/2 years old and if I replaced it today with the same brand & model it would cost me over 00. But, how crucial is it for me to have receipts for proof of the value since I don’t have them anymore. I bought it all offline and might not be able to recover it. But it was all new when I bought it, and you can easily look up the retail value today, which is the same as when I bought it.
Also, if I can’t get any transportation I will miss school which is currently being fully covered by FAFSA (govt. financial aid), but I’d be losing out on the grants they’ve given me (if I have to take these classes over it will then have to come out of my pocket, and I cant afford any of this right now as it is).
Anyways, please tell me what you think. Sorry for the long explanation, I just want it to be thorough to get more reliable responses to my situation. Thanks.

I am looking to take a year or so off after high school to just travel, take a road trip across america, so i need a car that has enough cargo space for my stuff and has a back seat so if i need to sleep in the car i can but it also needs to be inconspicuous so its not broken into in the middle of the night at a motel and it has to have a CD player and preferably a navigation system also air conditioning and a heater would be great =D and of course it has to have good gas mileage and 4WD just in case for when life throws me something unexpected, I’m thinking along the lines of a SUV, crossover, or mini-van. I am a girl but i really don’t care about looks as long as it gets me from A to B, right. basically i’m looking for a car I can run into the ground… so to speak!!!!!
yeah I’ve looked at the cherokee and outback and I like them both but I’m looking for more suggestions ….. you’d be surprised at how few used outbacks there are!!!!! plenty of cherokees but my first thought was the outback and my bro had a jeep and I didnt like it too much it wasn’t very comfortable but i’m still looking into it cuz he had a liberty and the cherokee is different I’m just looking for more possibilities and quick question who makes the broncos ????

On Saturday i was – lets just say severely inebriated i didnt have a place to stay and i was way to drunk to drive so i turned the heater on for a bit ate some Cheetos grabbed a blanket and passed out. At about 4am i hear a knock on my window and its a cop so i move from the back seat into the drivers side and roll down the window. Still being drunk i said "what the hell do you want" bad move. He said he was going to write me a ticket for a DUI because my keys were in the center console and i had been drinking – knowing this is a possibility i always keep a note in my car saying "if you are reading im in no condition to drive these keys are here only to turn the heater or lights on." He found that amusing and asked for my license (im 16) and just got my g2s so he gave me a warning for underage drinking and told me never to sleep in my car again. I live in ontario is it really illegal to do that? it seems like a good alternitive to drinking drunk!

I am looking to take a year or so off after high school to just travel, take a road trip across america, so i need a car that has enough cargo space for my stuff and has a back seat so if i need to sleep in the car i can but it also needs to be inconspicuous so its not broken into in the middle of the night at a motel and it has to have a CD player and preferably a navigation system also air conditioning and a heater would be great =D and of it has to have good gas mileage and 4WD just in case for when life throws me something unexpected, I’m thinking along the lines of a SUV, crossover, or mini-van. I am a girl but i really dont care about looks as long as it gets me from A to B, right. basically i’m looking for a car I can run into the ground… so to speak!!!!!

If my husband and I do argue it is typically over money. But this argument was out of no where and turned really ugly real fast. I am a stay at home mom. By both of our choices. Our daughters have chronic health problems, and i am now helping take care of my 80 yr old grandma (who does anything for us, she bought our house for us) so when she needed help i have to help her. I occasionally chip in financially, i am a full time college student as well, so when i get my school money it goes straight into our account. I have been pretty lucky here lately and have won 00 at bingo a few times. That too goes straight into our account. Last night we had to pay a bill, for some reason we all had to go with him. (me and the kids) while we were driving he made a comment that he never has money to do anything. When i said what? he got hateful and mean. Let me say this man has everything. My family has spoiled him to no end. He wants for nothing because if we cant get it my grandma does. Then he starts screaming at me in the car telling me i said i just paid the bills now they are due again…Ummm yea i just paid them Last month!! We almost have his truck paid off so the normal payment is 5. I paid 0 he thinks that covers him for July’s payment i told him no i just paid down the principle. He turned to me and called me an F*ing B*tch while we were driving. When I said what…He said you heard me..the girls are in the back seat begging him to stop fighting. i took my debit card out and tore it into pieces and threw it at him. Im done…it is his money his checking account. (he did open it with out me last year) when i did that, he pulled over and pulled his arm back to hit me..i moved out of the way…then told him to do it because i am not intimidated by him any longer,if he is man enough do it because i will have his a*s in jail so fast he wouldn’t know what hit him. He has not talked to me since. I have apologized a million times to the girls because they should never have seen that. I do love him,I do want to be a family, but i don’t want to do this anymore. What would you do? Ive been calling councilors all morning to see which my insurance covers.

In the past three days I have had two dreams which are somewhat similar, but I am really only looking for what the first one means.
In my first dream, I am driving a friend’s car on a road and then it all of a sudden goes out of control and runs off the road. I am stuck merely a few yards from the road and almost immediately a man pulls over to help me. I explain to him what happened, and when I look at him in the eyes i run away because he is going to kidnap and kill me. Only a few seconds after I am running, a boy my age with red hair and freckles grabs my hand and tells me he is going to save me. We get to a drop off that is low enough for us to jump. There is a sidewalk and a road below where the boy has his get away truck for us. The boy jumps and i follow but the kidnapper grabs my hair and is pulled down with me. I see a bit of terror in the boy’s eyes, I get scared, and then the dream ends.
The second, similar dream is my father driving his SUV with me in the back seat. As we are driving, I am really depressed and I know that an accident is going to happen as we are driving down the road, but I don’t say anything. We get into a really tight spot surrounded by other cars that are speeding and then as soon as we get away from the other vehicles, the car loses control and runs off the side of the road. The car keeps going down a slight downhill of desert terrain(due to the fact we are in arizona) and the car does not stop tumbling for the longest time. When we get to the bottom, the car is completely totaled, looking as if it had just been collided into from all sides and was covered in dirt and rocks.
In both dreams I was not moved anymore than a little bit of shaking when the cars lost control, nor was I hurt.
Since they have the "out of control" car thing in common, I figure they must mean something or my subconscious is trying to tell me something. help??
