Should I leave my car windows cracked all night to dry car upholstery?
I had my carpets and seats professionally cleaned about 5 hours ago and some spots are still wet, especially the carpet in the back. It is supposed to be in the 30′s tonight, should I leave my windows cracked all night? I don’t have a garage.
Also, I have been running the heater on high with cracked windows for about 20 minutes, do you think this will make it dry faster? Thanks.

running the heater wont help……and leaving the windows cracked would depend…..if temp drops sharply enough to hit the dew point b4 it freezes then u will actually have more water in ur car if u open windows…
fan might help some but a heater will not…

Go to the supermarket and buy a "Closet Camel".
[A Closet Camel is a container containing absorbent material used for the absorption of moisture in your clothes closet to prevent mould & mildew from developing on clothing].
Place this in the car and over the next few days this will dry out all the moisture in your car. As just allowing the sun to dry it out will not work unless you can leave the windows open & if you live in an area with high humidity that won’t work either.

you can as long as it,s not going to rain. it would help if you have vent shades above the windows. did you try a hair dryer or a wet and dry vac?
