Room for sub-woofers in a four door truck?
I have an 02 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab and I would like to put some sub-woofers inside. the problem is that there is a back seat and underneath that seat there are plastic platforms that will fold out to cover the entire back. There appears to be no room for any subs, so does anyone see a solution or know of something that’ll work? Thanks for the help
I don’t think removing the seat is an option. What about shallow mount subs in the doors? Anyone have any good experience with those?
Where would you suggest exactly that I put the Powered Sub(the tube)?

Yeah either your gonna have to remove the seats, remove whats under the seats, or place your subs directly on your seats. Post a pic to give us a better idea of what your working with.

you should take out the plastic platform and go on ebay and look at some already made custom sealed boxes for your truck. there should be some for your truck. then get a couple slim 10" or 12" subs and an amp and you’ll be good to go

removing the plastic is one idea. Or, I say an install in a Truckin’ Magazine that left the seats in and still made a box for two subs. What they did was made a little thing that looked like a center console. It came up off the ground in the back and laid on the seat. It held two 12" subs and only took up the center seat. Two people could still comfortable fit. It looked pretty cool. If you wanna know what month/issue shoot me a message and I can find it for ya.

they make stuff small enough specially made for trucks like yours like these ones
