Replacing speakers 1999 dodge neon?
I need some advice on how to remove and replace. does the rear seat need to come out in order to remove the rear deck covering?

Yes it does – both the seat bottom and the seat back must be removed as well as the third brakelight. You may also need to remove the ‘C’ pillars on each side of the rear deck to slide it out without bending / breaking it.
it is easiest to pop up the front of the bottom seat cushion. It just sits there. Then take out the two bolts that hold the back in. Pull that up, and it is easier to get the cover over the speakers off and on. I think you have to remove the seat though anyway.
