My car heater blows cold air – what is wrong?
I have a 2007 Trailblazer with dual climate controls. The drivers side always blows warm air when the heat is on. The passenger side starts blowing warm air but then it turns to cold air. The same goes with the vent in the back seat. Both sides are set to warm, so it shouldn’t be blowing cold air. Does anyone know what this could be? And how expensive it might be to fix? Thanks!

Yes sound like the valve that controls the antifreeze and water mixture going to the heater radiator is not working properly some of them are mechanical and some are electric.
Read the owners manual and see if you can troubleshooting the problem it may be something you can fix yourself

Very common. Disconnect the negetive battery cable from the battery. Next, touch the disconnected end to the positive terminal of the battery. Sounds weird, but this actually discharges all of the capasitors in the system and "homes" the electrically controlled vent doors of the heating system.
