My 2001 Dodge Durango seems to have an electrical problem.?
First the door locks began locking and unlocking of their own accord, now nothing on the steering column works ie: cruise control, radio controls, horn. My airbag light is constantly on and my driver’s side seat heater isn’t working!! What’s going on?

The wiring harness is seriously damaged. Probably along the path through the steering column.

How long have you owned it? Did you buy it from the gulf coast or has it ever been in a flood? We know someone that bought one and wasn’t told that it was in a flood and it did the same thing to them. Do a carfax on your car.

you need to start looking over the whole vehicle for loose ground wires, mainly the one under the dash may be loose or completely off, that will cause them to do this, that’s about the only thing that will make one act like that other than a mouse eating in to a wiring harness,i been seeing a lot of that lately with the cold weather being here, mice will nest on wires because the hold heat, and very often a mouse can get in where you wouldn’t think they could, they got my Nissan a week ago,and almost my dodge, check the whole vehicle out,and look for bare wires and loose ground wires and also check the fuse panel real good for blown fuses, good luck on finding it,and have a good new years.
