Jeep Wrangler owners…Help!?!?
i have an 02 wrangler x…i want to buy a duster to cover the back when the seats are out or folded down. also, i want to have a rear window directly being the front seats, i know you can buy a set up for that with the window and all, but is it possible to use the window i already have to put in place of that? (reason being, it would be much cheaper) and finally, the two speakers on the roll bar in the middle would get in the way unless they faced the other way…is it possible to rotate them to the front of the roll bar instead of the back?
How can i be positive they are weather proof? the speaker bar holding the speakers up there came with the car and is a piece of wood wrapped in foamy stuff with cloth around it

I’ll tell you right now the stock speakers in the Wrangler soundbar are NOT waterproof. I would recommend replacing them with aftermarket marine-rated speakers. In about 3 weeks I will be replacing my Wrangler sound system with a fully marine-rated Polk Audio system. However if you want to take an extremely cost effective way out, just buy a can of scotch guard and soak the speakers with it. Let them dry in the sun for a day and they will work for decades in weather exposure! It is also possible to just rotate the sound bar around, I’ve seen pictures of them with the soundbar either way. I’m not so sure about using the window you already have in place of a specially designed window for the purpose that you want. You could possibly make your own "frame" to zip the window into.. you just need a way to stretch the window tight and I’m not sure how you could do that unless you made something else to zip it into. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!!

You can get the duster at http://www.quadratec.com. You would have to buy the back window because it is specially designed to wrap around the roll bar and then zips to the duster. The rear window to the full top does not work. The speakers stay outside the rear window but they are weatherproof so it does not matter. The vinyl window does not diminish the sound from them.
