I bought a used pickup from a smoker. How can I get the smoke odor out of the truck?
I am having the cloth seats recovered with factory leather seat covers.

Febreeze helps too
I live in the cold climate and i find that if i open all the windows and let it sit out in zero temps for a few days, it airs it out nicely.

i would think about getting the seats completely removed. the smell will be stuck in the padding of the seats as much as in the covers.
i wouldn’t get the seats re-covered until you’ve de-funked the truck.

The new seat covers will help, the auto store has a refresher to spay..or go to Walmart or a Dollar General store and get " Fabric Refresher"

After I clean the surface with a mild soap when its half way dry I start spraying the Febreze.after this what ever I’m left with I just settle with making dots all over, all surfaces with an old favorite cologne.Let it dry again.Even on the carpet.

Put cotton balls in sandwich bag and add vanilla extract to the cotton balls and leave on dash for a day. The vanilla gets rid of the smoke smell.

the smell of the leather will help, but you can take it to the detail shop.they will put an ozinator inside the truck with windows closed for a couple of hours and it will eliminate all odors.cost about $15-$20.00.
