how to dry a wet car seat?
my gf left the windows on the passenger side of her car down when it rained all night. now the car seat is soaking wet. what is the best way to dry it? any tricks? we are just going to drive around with the windows down and crank the heater. if anyone has any tricks to it that would be awesome. thanks in advance!

Rent or buy a wet/dry shop vacuum sweeper. You can get most of the soaked in water extracted.

the absolute best way is to fold a couple of towels the size of the seat, then sit on them. The pressure brings the moisture out and the towels soak it up. Then go for your drive!

the best way to do is get a good wet dry vacuum cleaner ,and pull all of the loose water out of it,and then set the seat in the sun or as near to a good heater as you can get it,without burning it,the longer the wetness stays in there the more likely it is to try and sour on it when it drys,good luck,i hope this help,s.

Use towels to soak some of the water up or if you have a wet/dry vaccuum use that. If you’re in a hurry to get it drier, use a blow dryer (extention cord from the house of course).
Oh yeah, and please…..left the window open? Yeah right. Tell her to start wearing adult diapers. Us women have these issues from time to time. I know her pain : )

Use a blowdryer…The one you would normally use for drying your hair. Attach it to an extension cord.

Shop Vac!!! Also later use fabreeze, it will help you get rid of that icky musty smell. Or, as long as it is not leather, you could rub some essential oils into the seat, test on an unseen area to make sure it wont stain, and when it heats up or you use the heater the thread will expand and let out some of the oils to make your car smell fantastic! And it’s not enough to stain clothing so dont worry about that.

The wet vac and hair dryer will help a little. Once you’ve done what you can with that, leave the car running with the air conditioner on.
The air conditioner removes moisture. That’s why you see water dripping under your car when its normally on in the summer.

Give 10 points. The best way to dry the seats, is leaving the motor running, with closed windows, and the heater on to the top. It will take like 15 minutes to get completed dried. No smells, no humidity.
