How can I remove glass from my car back speakers?
My car’s back windshield was broken and glass when everywhere in the car. There are a bunch of glass in my back speakers and I can’t get it out. I have tired vaccuming it but it doesn’t work. I try finding out where the screws that connect my speaker but unforunately it’s underneath the plastic cover in my back seats. I can’t play any music in my car and it’s driving me nuts. I have a 03′ Toyota Corolla, if anyone could help me that would be awesome!!

from the inside of the trunk you can unscrew the speakers and take the glass out, then put the speakers back again.

your speakers are in the trunk of your car, open the trunk and look under the back shelf just under your back glass, you will see 2 cone shaped covers (probably black) under these covers are your speakers, remove the covers( they should be easy to take off) then you will see your speakers, there should be 4 bolts 3/8" wrench size holding them in, remove the bolts and your speakers will come out and you can vacuum them easy. Then put them back in just like they came out, and you’re are done!

if you cant find any screws holding the panels in place, its probably because there arn’t any. what you will have to look for instead is a slot to fit a flathead screwdriver in and pry them off because they are held in by clips. be careful though to not use to much pressure or you can bend the clips and they wont go back on right, or crack the plastic and it once again wont go on right. if there isn’t any place to pop the covers off from the bottom, it also could be that you arn’t supposed to access them from the bottom, but instead you are supposed to remove the cover from the speaker, once again by inserting a screw driver into a slot and popping them off.
good luck.
