~Clothing~
*Diapers – Buy two times a month, a box is about $20, so $40 for the month.
*Undershirts – You don’t need undershirts, you need onesies, a 5 pack of onesies are $10. Sizes are 0-3 months, 6-9 months, and 12 months. You will need about 2 or three packs for each size.
*Socks and tights – Socks are only about $5 a pack if you get plain ones then you’ll get about 8 pairs if you get ones wish designs you’ll only get about 3 pairs. Again same with the sizes.
*Booties, shoes – You don’t exactly need shoes until it is cold or they are walking.
*Pajamas – I’d say buy 7, they are about $8 each.
*Sweater – Depends, plain are only about $10, fancy about $15 to 20.
*Snowsuit or Jacket (I’d probably just do jacket myself) – For a baby baby I don’t think you should do a jacket, but for older like 12 months they’re anywhere from $25 to 50.
*Hats, mittens – Beanies when they are small are about $8 for a pack with two beanies and two pairs of mittens.
*other – you will need bottoms, preferably cotton ones for newborns. They are about $8 for a pack of two, or you can buy individually at like Target for $3.50 each. You’ll need about 7 at least.
~Feeding~
*Bibs – $10 for a 4 to 5 pack depending again on if they are plain or have designs. You’ll only need about a pack or two.
*Formula/Nursing costs – get WIC.
*Infant Cereal – Don’t need it until 6 months but you can introduce at 4 months, it’s only about $3 a box. A box lasts a month until about 8 months.
*Baby food (jars) – They’re anywhere from 2 for a dollar to $1.20 each depending on if you want generic or not.
~Sundries~
*Shampoo – once a month about $4 a bottle.
*Soap – Get the body wash and shampoo mixture in the same bottle.
*Oil and Lotion – You’ll only need one bottle of oil the entire year, lotion about once a month or every two months both are about $4.
*Powder/ointment – $4 each, again once a month or every two months.
*Cotton balls – never used em, but I did and still use Q- tips, Depending on what brand anywhere from $2 to $4.
*Baby wipes – Twice a month about $7 each
*Laundry Detergent & fabric softner – Depends on if you’re going to use Dreft or regular, Dreft is about $12 for a box but it lasts all month.
~Equipment~
*Bathtub, bathinette – Depends, anywhere from $10 to $20.
