If you go them, you'd have to be VERY careful on how much power you give them. When subs are in enclosures that're too large, they move a lot further, so power handling must be reduced. The Bostons will go real low, sounding great the whole way, and the TypeR's will sound okay. My vote is still for the Boston Acoustics. I'm partial to them since I got my G51044 with GTR. That is the thing about sound though, everyone has their own taste about what they think sounds good. That is why the best advice is to see if you can hear the equipment before you buy it. That is not always easy to do but sometimes it is going to pay off. You should also take into consideration that it won't sound exactly the same as when it is in your car/truck so you don't want to bass too much on that. Erck, I wouldn't brag about blowing every sub you've had. That means that you have either setup systems that overpower the sub or you have not set your gain properly.
