We have owned 5 Toyotas - all Brand New and kept them as long as 12 years and 211,000 miles, and never had a problem with the upholstery in any of them. We currently drive 2005 Highlander 6 cylinder AWD and 1998 Sienna XLE minivan.

Just the other day, I was thinking of how nice it was to have the minivan in terms of what it has saved us when performing Do It Yourself moves: 1st our oldest son in college, then every year when his lease expired, and most recently moving elderly Mom, and was contemplated replacing the driver's side front floor mat where your heel rests on the accelerator bec it is the one thing that caught my mind regarding what I have noticed will wear eventually out or show non-new condition as our Toyotas have aged from keeping them for life...or until we give them away which is what happened or what we did with our 1993 Camry LE Sedan when my wife and her sisters insisted on 4 wheel drive SUV's for safety (keep quiet and don't ask them about gas mileage? when they have to fill up at the pump bec even our older Sienna XLE that has standard 300LB extra towing pkg with 101,000 miles gets slightly better mileage)

Hope the Above Info Gives You Peace of Mind!
