]]> Okay so here we go. 6 years ago I put my 1977 Nova Rally in a secured (fenced and barb wired) storage facility. The same facility also has standard enclosed spaces. I have been paying /mo for the last 6 years or so. (Total of around 00). When the car was parked it was locked and covered with a waterproof locking car cover. It also had the original nova rims, trim rings and center caps, full set of four, sitting in the back seat. On the front seat were some seat covers. So today I had a shipper go to retrieve the car and start bringing it to me. The shipper takes pictures of the car before loading as I asked him and sends it to me. Long story short, Rims are gone, seat covers are gone, car cover is gone and has been for a while because the slight deterioration that the car had has gotten exponentially worse. Whoever it was also got under my hood and took my battery, alternator, all my spark plug wires, and I don’t know what else cause it’s in transit. So my question is, what legal recourse do I have, what kind of damages should I seek if I have a case. Bear in mind that the storage facility has change ownership 2 or 3 times in the time I have had the car there, I don’t know if that has any bearing on the situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
