I’m writing a story about the apocolypse. The main characters are a 17 year old, his girlfriend, and his 7 year old brother. The protagonist’s girlfriend is a genie, but he doesn’t know it. It’s kindof a thick plot- 1. The characters are all searching for someplace to stay so that they can feel welcome, but the main character has some ulterior motives.
2. The 7 year old witnessed his mom dying in the beginning of the apocolypse and became mute. His older brother (the main character) has to comfort him through the whole thing.
3. The main character is obsessed with his truck, and the ulterior motive I mentioned earlier is to get the last unopened seat cover set in the world.

In the end, the main character and his girlfriend become closer. His little brother finally speaks again, and the main character decides that he actually has a place to belong- with them- and he decides that finding the last seat cover was a waste of his time. Seeing as his girlfriend is a genie, she relizes that he finally got his priorities straightened out, and she secretly makes the last seat cover set appear nearby. The main character doesn’t see this, and still doesn’t know that she is a genie. She sends him over to get something, and as he walks towards it, he trips over the box.
Yeah, I think I’ll take out the genie part. I was a little skeptical about that myself… I’m just trying to get my plot figured out right now. I’ve got the beginning down, but I’m editing the snot out of it every ten minutes it seems. I’ve had writer’s block for ages, so now that I’m having at least some good ideas I’m glad. I do have to change a lot of this plot, though…

Yeah, let’s just forget the genie thing and remove that ending there with the seat covers. Not finding them and realizing that what he really wanted was right in front of him sounds a lot better.

I have a dark plum Toyota Tacoma truck and i want to get some mat’s , maybe a bench seat cover? maybe a wheel cover? and i want some LED lights to go under the dash on both inside the truck…. what color should i get? blue red or white? do any of those colors go? i was thinking red would spice it up and look decent? … and what color for the mats and covers and stuff…..

i love my TL but, i also like the S2K. Im 19 yrs old.

My husband was involved in a car accident a few days ago, it was his fault and hit a parked car on accident. He was so freaked out about what happened that he came straight home. I then called the police and reported what had happened and why he came home. The police said that it was called in as a hit and run unless we returned to the scene right away. We did, and my husband told the people we would pay for anything the insurance wouldn’t cover. We got screwed on our part and had to pay 6,000 worth of damage to our truck, we had only liability on the truck. Our insurance company said their damage was ,200.00. We would owe 0 to the people since our policy for collision was only 5 grand. Now the people are really upset and took it upon themselves to get a rental car that seats 8 people (their car that my husband hit was a suburban). My question is would I still be responsible for the rental car even if their car was still drivable at the time? I am willing to pay for their damage and expenses, but do not want to get screwed over. Also, they have told our insurance that it has been 10 and their car is still not fixed. We are planning on asking the other people if it was absolutely necessary to get a rental or wait until the received the necessary parts at the body shop before getting their rental car. Please if anyone has any suggestion I would appreciate it. Like I said I am willing to pay, but I don’t want to get screwed in the end.
Also, the police said when we returned at the scene that the people did not want to press charges since my husband came back, if they take us to court can they change their minds?

Okay so i wrote this story and I wanna see your review on it. Don’t remind me about spelling, grammer or capitalization errors cause i know, and I was gonna edit and revise it after I get your reviews so I can change everything at once. But anyways Im in the 8th grade and I would like to continue forward and make this into a book (a short one) but I don’t know where to go with it. Any ideas? Thanks(:

I sat at the edge of the lake, like i do every morning. I starred off into the magnificent sunrise, thinking… Thinking about Jacob, i loved him so dearly but to no surprise we faded apart.

The day we met i had seemed like we knew each other for ages. Blind to everything in the world but him, this was truly love at first sight. I took one glance at him and knew he, Jacob, was the one i would spend the rest of my life with. His tall , muscular body, with long brown hair barley covering his stunning blue eyes, made me breathless.

"Today," he said, "I will make this the most unforgettable day of your life." He grabbed my hand and sprinted out side to his old ford truck. "My lady," he gestured to the open door, helping me up. "Thank you very much," I thanked him with the happiest grin on my face. Leaping into the car, he handed me a blindfold, he insisted i put it on so that it was a surprise as to where he was taking me. It was a long drive, soon i was getting a little bit nervous, but as i heard his calming voice, immediately my nervousness was overcome by excitement.

The long drive soon ended as the car pulled off the the road. I reached up about to remove the blind fold. "NO! Please don’t do that Jasmine, it will ruin my surprise." I giggled to his seriousness but reluctantly i kept it on. He raced around the car to my door. As he opened the door i turned my body sideways to face him, with one storng gesture, he grabbed me around my waist and lifted me down to the ground. I was falling in love, and all i could do is stand there and smile. He grabbed my hand and lead me down a path. Once we got to the bottom of this mysterious place, he lifted me up and carried me to a seat, where he then set my down. "Okay Jasmine, are you ready?" Not being able to speak, i just nodded my head.

I was breathless. I stood up and walked around, turning in a full 360. Nobody was in sight, just me and him. I was standing in a little beach house with no walls, just curtains for privacy. In the middle of the this was and over sized hammock with a small night stand next to it. But that was just the least of my amazement, it was stunning, the view. We were on a beach with warm, soft sand that stretched miles on either side of us. In front of us was the calm, beautiful, blue ocean meeting the multicolored horizon. Now that it was almost night fall, the sky was absolutely breathtaking.

"Jacob.. Oh my gosh! This is magnificent!" I exclaimed with joyful tears in my eyes. I ran over to him and swung my arms around him. He lifted me up and spun me around. "I’m so glad you like it." Jacob had a huge grin on his face! "I have something for you," he said so mysteriously, "I’ll be right back though, its in my truck." As he sprinted up to his truck i just stood their taking in the beauty.

When he came back he was in swim trunks, and a button down shirt. Holding a bikini in one hang and i towel in another he handed it to me. "Here, i thought we could have fun and go swimming, you can go change behind those curtains, I’ll be waiting for you on the beach," and with that he walked out to give me privacy. I changed into the bikini and went outside to meet him.

After hours of swimming and splashing around in the water having fun it started to get dark, so he took my hand and we started walking down the beach. We were talking about everything and anything. Just laughing and having a good romantic time. After walking till one in the morning he drove me home, he told me we should do that again sometime. I agreed. After he left i fell asleep soundly, and dreamt about him that night.

The next couple days i didnt want to seem too anxious and call him, so i waited… After a week went by i called and I couldn’t reach him. Soon after a couple months went by, i tried any number under him name, not wanting to lose him. Soon after six months i realized, i was probably never going to talk to him or see him ever again. I cried my eyes out for days, and became depressed after a while. I had just lost my first real love.

My parents recently bought me a 1995 318i BMW. I like it but the dash area where the radio is and between the driver/passenger seats (where the parking break/shifter is) looks really dated. I was wondering if I could replace those parts to look like the ones on newer models- as the exterior/seats/carpet are in fantastic shape. In addition, the area behind the steering wheel (I know I sound dumb- I don’t know the names!) that shows your speed/gas etc… can that also be replaced? And lastly I know I can get the white light bulbs for my headlights… but can I get new covers over the bulbs to give the car a newer look? Thanks for any info!
Also if you know or can approximate the price of each of these things plus how much it will cost to be installed:

Ok. So, today i finally brought home my very first Corrado. Its a Black 1990 G60. Very nice cosmetically, not so much mechanically or electrically. There is literally no rust . But there are problems. And LOTS of them.
PROBLEMS:
Brakes are very unresponsive and VERY hard to push.
Head lights are extremely dim and I cannot see in the dark.
Blinkers/four-ways don’t work. Back or front.
Electric Seat belts don’t work.
Sun roof doesn’t open. Or seal.
Heater doesn’t produce much heat, although it is warm.
Car overheats QUICKLY when idling. This may have something to do with the heat problem ^^ maybe i need a new heater core
Runs and drives decent.
I’m just hoping that these are common, and easy fix problems. Hoping.
I paid 1800 for the car. Drove it home. Think i got a deal… or got cheated…??
This is my first car, on day one. I wonder what other gremlins i’ll have the pleasure of discovering….

1975 CJ5 Jeep, Striaght 6 engine, 33′ brand new tires, Snow Camo paint job, more of a 4 wheel drivin toy not a drive to work vehicle more so for fun and it is very fun to drive in the mud, snow, or whatever it is you like to play in.
