2004 Buick Rainier A/C& Heater blower problems?
It worked fine until today. The temperature control works fine but the air only blows out the defrost vents and the vents in the rear seat area. No air blows out of the dash vents or the floor vents, blower works but doesn’t switch between the floor, dash, and defrost vents. What could it be? Is there a vacuum system on this model?

Not sure if that is vacumn, or electric. Eitherway it sounds like the blend doors are stuck in the airbox. You need to have it looked at.

I know the temperature blend door is electric, but I think the mode door (def, vent, floor) is vacuum operated.
Check under the hood for any hissing vacuum leaks. The vacuum hoses going towards the firewall are the ones to check.
Quick and dirty method for checking for vacuum leaks is to dump a bucket of water on the intake manifold area of the engine(with it running), and then wet all the vacuum hoses. Listen for any water being sucked in, and/or rough engine running during the event. No change = no leaks.
