Stay away, the only way I would buy one of these that has that many miles on it is if it had the 3.8 V6, and even then I would be very careful. Even if it runs good, all the bells and whistles are going to start falling apart.

I'd say don't buy it because it has 200,000 miles on it. Go to kbb.com and search how much its worth and it'll tell you what you should do.

Pontiacs, in general, are not known for their reliablility. The most recent models...G6, G8, etc, are a great improvement of earlier models. However, it also depends on how well the car has been maintained. If they have stringent maintenance records, it may be worth close to what they are asking. Otherwise, I would suggest negotiating the price to no more than $1,400. Try looking up the blue book value online.

No. Find something that will be more reliable. I, along with a few friends have owned Pontiac's. The more miles they have on them, the faster they fall apart. Trust me.
